Peyton played with far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far, far better talent and then choked in the playoffs. Manning lost the first playoff game in seven of his eleven tries. Favre only lost in the first round three times out of twelve appearances.

what if the broncos win the superbowl this season?

Then he'd have a 41.7% record in first round games as opposed to Favre's 75%.

ok.....so that means bo jackson abililty was overrated on tecmo bowl?

which also leads me to okoye

i would love to have those 2 ....if they coulda stayed healthy

then again

Okoye has stated that he ended his NFL career because he became tired of practice, and that he considered football to be a job

Bo Jackson's ability on Techmo Bowl was based on his potential. He never really got the chance to prove it though.

Best Running Backs in NFL history
1. Jim Brown
2. Adrian Peterson
3. Barry Sanders
4. Walter Payton
5. Eric Dickerson
6. LaDainian Tomlinson
7. Marshall Faulk
8. Tony Dorsett
9. Thurman Thomas
10. Emmitt Smith

I didn't realize how rare truly great backs were until I made that list. I didn't really want to include anyone else after Faulk.

I'm not sure how AP makes this list and Earl Campbell doesn't. Also, Gale Sayers?

Your ranking is aweful

if we want to talk about someone with a shitty oline, it is Marshall Faulk during his Indy days. Dude seriously doesn't get the credit he deserves. Tomlinson couldn't sniff his jock.

Barry Sanders played with the Lions Nuff Said!

1. Joe Montana (the original Brady)
2. Brett Favre (35 more wins than anyone else, never played with great receivers except Sharpe)
3. Tom Brady (Intelligence and accuracy)
4. Steve Young (the original RG3)
5. Peyton Manning (best regular season QB ever, but loses major points for playoff failures)
6. Dan Marino (why were his defenses always terrible?)
7. Johnny Unitas (have to compare him to others from his era to see how good he was)
8. John Elway (his rookie completion percentage was worse than Tebow's, 56.9% career mark)
9. Aaron Rodgers (career QB rating 7.1 points higher than anyone in history, will fly up this list with more seasons)
10. Fran Tarkenton (all-time overachiever, made some terrible teams relevant)

Wat? Favre over Brady? Brady whooped his ass

not bad......but what about

otto graham gotta be the best all time

His 9.0 yards per pass attempt still makes him the most productive passer of all time and after adjusting his stats for differences in eras his 4,046 yards per season (2,358 actual) is second only to Peyton Manning
In his entire 10 year professional football career Graham never finished a season without playing in a championship game...think about that...in 10 years he played in 10 championships and he won 7 of them.

sammy baugh

Despite being retired for nearly 60 years he's still tied for the record for most seasons leading the league in passing yards and he still holds the record for the most years with the lowest interception percentage

roger staubach

2 wins and 2 apperances in 11 years.....career was a bit short

bart starr
5 championships in 7 years

and unitas should be higher (the tom brady of his day)

just some food for thought

I think you have to dump Tarkenton for Drew Brees.

Sayers and Campbell had too short of stints to be top 10 list worthy.
