I have to agree with JD here. Devonport's last season in WL, we decided to quit trying after 6 games and still made playoffs with as little cares as possible. If we could do it, I have no doubt that the majority of the teams that make the playoffs every season do so with minimal cares. In fact, if a team has to work super hard to make the playoffs, they are pretty much doomed, as that level of effort is just not sustainable over multiple seasons without burn out.
