Copout or not, I'm just saying there's an alternative, but less inflammatory, possibility. Of course, that wouldn't be fun on an internet forum, so yeah, it's way better to just jump to a conclusion in order to piss people off and get more forum replies.

With that mentality PW gold will just continue swirling down the shitter until no one is left playing. I seriously wanted to work to build a contender in gold but couldn't commit to being stuck in a league forever that has no soul.

The reason there is very little shit talking in PWG is because most of us have out grown that. There is a lot of respect for each other as we have been playing each other for so long, so what else there to say> Thus we let our playing do the talking. Plus most of us are not teens with an identity crisis who like to talk it up just to make themselves look better. Heck, I turn 40 this Sat and there are some even older than I am, and we just don't do that any more.

However, I do agree that there needs to be a little more life on the boards of PWG.

If you don't have a team with swagger it's pointless. There has to be a team or teams everyone wants to shut up or the league is meh.

The reason there isn't much shit talking is PWG has like 5-6 people who really care and of that 3-4 teams who have a chance and the league is pretty much dead. Maturity has nothing to do with it. Everyone hated him, but stoner at least brought life to the forums since everyone wanted that lunatic to lose. League's been dead for a few seasons, as has the game.

I should make a come back and troll Gerr with my one liners and then get a 10 page paper response back from him. Should be good for a few days.

Those of us with a shitload of responsibility in the real world look at this game for what it really is...a browser game on the internet. This isn't real life bro. This is an escape, a place to get away from all the burdens of the real world. Actually it's teenagers without a care in the world or 40 year old virgins that take shit like this so seriously.

You can't continue to practice isolationism and expect this league to last much longer. Right now there really isn't much reason for Bort to keep the peewee league. The die hard peewee guys have done nothing to promote this league type but rather wanted to exclude anyone who didn't fit their idea of what someone in peewee should represent.

Look where the whole "I would rather play in a mature league" attitude has gotten you. Peewee went from a cool concept to a boring country club mentality. I swear after every game in PW I can hear golf claps.

Pee Wee started out as a place for new people to learn the game. It's a mentality that stuck with the league type.

GLB's userbase has been dropping steadily and everyone agrees that their aren't a lot of new people joining. Having ONE place in this entire fucking site where they are welcome does not seem like a bad thing. Anyone who would want to chase off every new player with "lol this game is dead, lol ur HB sucks, learn2build" are part of the problem, not the solution. (I'm not saying you specifically, Dub.)

We're not isolationist; there just aren't new people joining this game anymore.
