changing a freaking name isn't going to improve recruiting at all. I seriously cannot believe that you would even think that it would help. people that play casual play casual. people that do not play casual aren't going to change their mind over a damn name.

#1 you have no idea what it will do so stop thinking your Dr. Phil and you are into the head of everyone. I will bet you that 1 person would switch to casual just because of a better name.

There have been certain dots I would not sign with casuals in the past but that had nothing to do with the names. It's because they had specialized builds that couldn't be utilized in casual.

and that is what a ton of agents would say as well. It isn't the name that is hurting casual it is the lack of options. it is very hard to use specialized builds in casual to their utmost potential. that is on of the biggest drawbacks of casual not the name of the leagues.

And I am not trying to act like Dr.Phil anymore than you are trying to think people are stupid enough to change their thinking just because you change the name of a league. I don't give a rats ass what you name the leagues. It isn't going to bring more agents over to play the casual game.

You are kinda missing a key point here.

There are people that do not go to casual not because they hate casual, but because of the "hype" about World League. They dont even think about casual, they think about WL and the Natty Pro road to get there, because thats what hits you in the face when you walk in the GLB saloon doors.

In other words, the impression the games nomenclature and structure gives is that World League is the real deal and that Casual is a Side Show.

For most dots, who never touch a tactics page, that difference is illusory. But thats what they are given to think and thats why the core of the game is National Pro "regular" and trying to grab the WL golden ring.

Which is to say, its all about perception.

And yes you CAN very well change perception by something as seemingly trivial as a name change, the same way the current perception is created by the current name useages.

If Bort wants casual to be more appealing, a casual WL would be a good step in that direction.

Changing the Casual name in general to something less demeaning sounding wouldn't hurt either.

When thinking about what might be an improvement to GLB, try thinking "outside your own opinion".

Other people like things you do not. This is an essential part of reality that I think sometimes escapes you in these discussions.

It is propaganda that is what we all live our lives on these days. Politics is a good example 1 party says something and were ready to lynch the other party then we find something out about the other party and we want to lynch them.

I might not have the greatest builds I dont really care. But you dont really have a chance when you have someone come right out and say sorry not good enough for World League. So my mindset is simple I will just play casual so I dont have to put up with the bullsh!t of Regular. There is a group of people who care about casual so Bort needs to let us have a good name just like the elite Regular.

Again Regular players you shouldnt even be posting dont worry about what we name our league in casual. I mean gheeze dont you have an AI that needs your attention.

Ok know it all, let's do an experiment. I will post my teams needs for my "Canadian Pro" regular league, promising big success and wins etc. Now let's see How well my "pro" team recruits against an established regular WL team!! I will give you the ownership to my house if the Cobra Kai of the WORLD LEAGUE has a harder time recruiting then my ANGEL DOTS of littlle ole Canadian Pro! LMFAO that you think League title means shit! You MUST be new here or have NEVER gone to the PLFT forum....everyone here wants there builds to go WL, no Africa Pro, not USA Pro, not Casual Pro, not Oceania Pro, etc, etc etc!! Wake up, Elitist league title is the be aall end all, or else abolish regular WL and any promotion to it if its all the same!!
