And i just want to ask because i hear alot of people say this. When someone trys to justify why they gut a team it is always "Well wouldn't you want to go to a team you know rather then get a bad owner" How do you know if it is a bad owner if noone ever waits for the new owner to take over the team. I have had a few bad owners latelly. Basically saying i will give you playing time then signing 4 guys in front of you. That to me is a bad owner. But never giving them a chance to begin with makes those people justifing a gut, just plain bad players.

You have to become an owner before you will get it...I recruited all of my players personally so I am not going to force them to play for a guy they don't know and might end up being bad. Oh that poor new guy, he has to start with a gutted team just like I did(for the Chinchillas). He has to recruit his butt off to get a team together just like almost every owner on this game. Seriously, I am not going to leave my guys to chance, they committed to me not to him.

I recruited all my own people, I am an owner.

I wouldn't gut my team if I knew I was leaving. I'd reneg all of my players contracts to end of season ones, and be done with it.

What USAORG is doing is piss poor, selfish, and not in the spirit of competitive football. If the commissioner of the league (in this case admin staff) had any balls they'd lock your rosters for gutting.

Also, I'm sure some are staying on the rosters on the two teams.

Sure doesn't look like it... Jug, hate to break it to you, but you've been duped

How was that "Draft" they did anyhow? LOLOLOL

BS is what it was. I was in talks with one of the gms that was putting that on and in the end everyone knows what happend. They chose the highest level people out of the millions......AND MILLIONS of glb clients that were signed up. When i sent a pm to him and asked how long it might take i was basically shown the door if i did not meet with them on msn ( or w/e gay ass messanger they wanted people on.) I do love how they gutted 2 teams but a usaorg player now owns one of them. How does one jump over people already on a list. Anyone wanna sell a team? I will come be a gm for you, you tell the mods you want to sell the team and one of your gms want to buy it. It's all legit right?

You're complaining because:
a.) a team took the highest level players it could
and
b.) they wanted to talk to you via instant message

?

Last I checked, taking high level players and trying to have conversations with players wasn't against the rules, mate.

I agree. I have a couple players in USAORG, but come on guys. How do you not see this as cheating?

I wanna win too, but do it the right way.

The way I see it, it has nothing to do with winning - it has to do with a bad decision and poor communication by the "admin staff."

I wouldn't play for an owner I didn't sign up for, and all you idiots who are saying, "You don't know if the owner will be bad..."

Yea, and I don't know whether or not I'd like to shoot heroin, but I'm not going to take that chance. People pay to play here, and they joined the USAORG - so what is the problem with them continuing to play for the USAORG.

Islander sounds like my whiney girlfriend when shes on her period though, I will say that.

Get over it or quit playing, crybabies.

I know how USAORG works. That's still no excuse to gut a team just because the 'illustrious leader' of USAORG hung you all out to dry.

Quit gutting/cheating, and we'll get over it.
last I checked paying to play was optional, moreover you guys are just a teeny, tiny, inconsequential spec in the ocean that is the income this MMO brings in.

You may fashion yourself(ves) as hot poop and conveniently above the rules - but guess what? You aren't.

edit: took what was really an unnecessary insult out.

Quit crying about something that doesn't concern you...I know I would not want to play for you because I want to know my owner is loyal and will look out for his guys so if he is not willing to give his guys an opt out clause if he sells the team then he is not a type of guy I want to play for.

Sprovo is gone. As of tomorrow he will have been inactive for two weeks. I am seeking to become the owner of the USAORG Vacationers. I feel as though I should have the right to purchase the team because I have been an active GM since season one, I am on the waiting list, and I have been calling plays for the team since season one.

Look, nothing personal and I know you're an opponent. Best of luck to you guys. I even talked with Sprovo a bit at end of season and stuff... we seemed cool with each other.

But I've talked about precidents on numerous occasions and just feel like this should be another one. NO.

No one should be able to purchase a team and trump the list. If there's a list then there's a list and the list should be the rule of law. Simple as that.

I actually agree that it would probably be good for you to be the next owner... but not at the cost of trumping the list. TERRIBLE precident then.

Having said all that, best of luck to all of you. I mean that.

It would be wrong for the developers to let someone take over any team that is not #1 on the waiting list for that particular region. It would show partiality in a game where there should be none. If one of the GMs should take over this team, then I should be able to sell one of my teams to whomever I want and those days ended a while back. If the owner is inactive for the period of time it takes to remove him from ownership, then it should happen.

What does that have to do with the price of tea in China? You clearly don't have the remotest of clues of which you're speaking.

That team (The Cows) is completely independent of my own.
I was the DC of the Milwaukee Cows when I left to start my own team in the 1/2 offseason. As luck would have it, the team I got was in USA A5. We promoted, and sure enough, we ended up in the same conference and division as the Cows.
Because of all the work I did on the Cows, the owner wanted to keep me on as an adviser as I helped him rebuild the franchise in season 1.

Oh, yeah, the Cows were a BBB team before the end of season 1. It's a total fluke we ended up where we are. I had no clue they were in our direct promotion bracket until after I got my team.

Moreover, not a single Cow player has GM privileges on my team. Although there are a few Cow players on my team so it balances out nicely enough.
I have zero tactical privileges on the Cows. I'm solely an adviser now for Packabacka.
