I've been waiting for the Lions to fall to 5th for a while now, i think that's where we belong and where we'll end up in the regular season.

It's tough playing against teams that are 6-7 levels ahead of us

WEEK 13 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl (13-0WL) - Took a 20-0 lead into halftime thanks to a late pick 6 in the 2nd Q. Defense has to be commended for holding off ATs 2nd half surge while the offense struggled to get anything done in the 2nd half and only found the endzone once all game. Locked up the top seed with this win.

2 American Terrorists (11-2) - Hadn't lost a game since week 2 and after failing to get any points in the first half, while allowing SGG to take a 20 point lead, the Terrorists couldn't get enough going in the 2nd half to come away with an upset. Only game left they should worry about is Tulsa in week 15.

3 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (11-2) - Put up 24 points before the Lions got into the endzone for the 1st time on a kickoff return TD. Pretty dominating win as the defense kept the Lions O out of the endzone until the final 4 minutes of the game.

4 Tulsa Storm (11-2) - Tulsa's playoff spot will come down to their final 2 games. Next week shouldn't be much of a problem at this point and then its AT and the Lions back to back.

5 Vancouver Lions (11-2R) - Tough loss to MEM as the O failed to get much done throughout the game. Next week they face the Growl, a team without much to play for now, but week 16 is more important to me. It's an opportunity to take down Tulsa and maybe slip into the top 4 and I actually think the Lions have a shot in that game though they may feel differently due to their age.

6 5th Masterminds (9-4R) - Easy win over the Jokers and if they can take the Penguins down it should wrap up the 6 seed. The last 2 weeks will be brutal and a loss to Newfoundland could throw the last 3 seeds into a mess.

7 Canton Bulldogs (7-6) - After 3 Qs Canton was only up 13-0. After the Bombers scored first in the 4th to make it a 6 point game their comeback attempt was short lived as Canton finished the game up with 18 consecutive points. Solid win to help solidify a playoff spot as no game is meaningless right now.

8 Stormwind City Gryphons (6-7R) - The Gryphons keep their hopes alive with a big win over the Spoilers. Next week against Canton is the most important game left on their schedule. A win sets them up to finish 9-7 which should be more than enough to wrap up the 7 or 8 seed.

9 Newfoundland Penguins (5-8) - Another solid win but I just don't see this team winning out and if they do manage to pull it off they still need Canton or Stormwind to completely meltdown.

10 Bay Area Bombers (5-8) - The loss to Canton should finish the Bombers off for the season. Hard to see them winning out from here and even if they do I doubt they win tiebreakers (though I didn't check because I'm lazy).

11 Sin City Spoilers (5-8R)
12 North Texas Timberwolves (3-10R)
13 Covington Black Knights (4-9)
14 Arkham Asylum Jokers (3-10)
15 American Predators (1-12)
16 Wisconsin Rapids Red Raiders (0-13R)

EASTERN
1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice (12-1) - In a game full of some big plays and great defensive efforts the Mice fall short and one just has to look at how the Mice failed to get in the endzone and had to settle for 7 FGs (3 inside the redzone). A pick 6 and special teams breakdown led to 14 points for CSA as well. I don't see the Mice dropping another game though so they should finish up as the 1 seed anyway.

2 All The King's Men (12-1WL) - Put the Hounds in the doghouse. Only big game left is against BO and that will determine the 2 & 3 seeds.

3 Black Ops 7 (12-1) - zzzzzzzzz...is that game over yet? Just circle week 15 as the only game of importance at this point.

4 College Station Aggies (11-2) - Kudos to the Aggies defense for forcing the Mice to go for 3 points 7 times in this one. Not to mention a nice pick 6 late in the 3rd that proved to be the deciding points. There's no where for them to go as far as seeding though with losses to both ATKM and BO7 but that was one hell of a victory.

5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (9-4R) - Squeaked through Denver and it will take a lot more than that to get anywhere against the Aggies next week as the Diggers continue to fight to maintain their hold on the 5th seed.

6 Punxsutawney Groundhogs (8-5) - Another big win for the Groundhogs as they exploded for 34 points in the 2nd Q and all they need to do now is fend off the Hounds and ACA to wrap up the 6th seed.

7 Gulf Coast Crocs (8-5R) - Made short work of the Assassins and will have to face a ticked off Mice squad next week. The pivotal game will be week 15 against the Diggers though.

8 Oakland Suppressors (7-6) - Tough loss to the Groundhogs and with 2 tough games remaining in weeks 15 & 16 this squad can't afford a slip up next week against the 1 win Assassins.

9 Atlantic City Affliction (7-6) - ACA is on the cusp but with ATKM up next they have a tough road ahead of them. Any hope of making the playoffs is going to require beating the red hot Groundhogs and 1 win Assassins squad in the last 2 weeks while praying someone falls apart over the next 3 weeks.

10 Nashville Hounds (5-8)
11 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners (5-8)
12 Denver Giant 9'ers (2-11R)
13 Philadelphia SEXY Demonik (2-11R)
14 Minnesota Eagles (2-11)
15 The Outlaw Assassins (1-12)
16 Chicago Bears 85 (0-13R)

WEEK 14 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl (14-0WL) - Coasting to the finish line.

2 American Terrorists (12-2) - Big game against Tulsa that could help cement them as the 2 seed.

3 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (12-2) - Easy shutout win over the Timberwolves and the Monkeys will be rooting for Tulsa to take down AT next week so the Monkeys can lock up the 2 seed. MEM can't overlook the Masterminds next week either though.

4 Tulsa Storm (12-2) - Big win over the Spoilers and Tulsa has to wrap up the season with 2 tough games. First up, the Terrorists will host them in a game that will shape the top 4 seeds. Following that game they face the Lions and a loss to AT could turn that into a game for the 4 seed.

5 Vancouver Lions (11-3R) - Played the Growl close through 2 quarters but couldn't maintain that pace through the 2nd half. Only big matchup left is week 16 against Tulsa. That could turn into a prelude for the first round of the playoffs.

6 5th Masterminds (10-4R) - Big shutout win and the final 2 games feature 2 of the best squads in the West. First they host the Monkeys and then travel to South Georgia for a game with the Growl. 2 games that give them a chance to make a huge statement heading into the playoffs if they come away with upset wins.

7 Canton Bulldogs (8-6) - Canton picks up a much needed win over the Gryphons which should lock them up as the 7th seed.

8 Stormwind City Gryphons (6-8R) - Tough loss puts the Gryphons in a tight spot with the playoff hunt winding down and the Penguins just 1 game behind them. The last 2 opponents have a combined 9 wins though so the Gryphons are favored in both making an 8-8 finish and the 8th seed a highly likely outcome.

9 Newfoundland Penguins (5-9) - They've got 2 winnable games left but if Stormwind wins 1 more game the Penguins are done. I don't see the Gryphons dropping both of their last games.

10 Covington Black Knights (5-9)
11 Bay Area Bombers (5-9)
12 Sin City Spoilers (5-9R)
13 North Texas Timberwolves (3-11R)
14 Arkham Asylum Jokers (4-10)
15 American Predators (1-13)
16 Wisconsin Rapids Red Raiders (0-14R)

EASTERN
1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice (13-1) - The Mice take down the Crocs on the back of a strong second half and with 2 more manageable games on tap they should wrap up the top seed.

2 All The King's Men (13-1WL) - Easy win over ACA and now they face their toughest remaining opponent with BO playing host to them next week. Not much hinges on the outcome though with the winner merely solidifying the 2 seed while the loser should still lock up the 3 seed.

3 Black Ops 7 (13-1) - Shutout the Shriners and next weeks game is for the 2 seed.

4 College Station Aggies (12-2) - Took apart the Diggers and the final 2 will be easy wins for the Aggies.

5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (9-5R) - Big loss to the Aggies and they still have to contend with the Crocs and Oakland. They'll need to sweep those to lock up the 5 seed.

6 Punxsutawney Groundhogs (9-5) - Solid win over Nashville but this team still has to face BO7 week 16 which should be a loss. That makes next week against Oakland a huge game as far as seeding goes.

7 Gulf Coast Crocs (8-6R) - Played well through the first half and held the Mice O to one TD but the second half was all Mice. Tough game next week against LV but week 16 is a lock for a win so at worst they finish 9-7. That should be enough to lock up the 7 seed at worst.

8 Oakland Suppressors (8-6) - Two tough games remain so Oaklands bid for the 8th seed isn't over yet. If they can take 1 of their last 2 they'll wrap it up but if they lose both they'll have to hope ACA goes winless the rest of the way.

9 Atlantic City Affliction (7-7) - An expected loss to ATKM and with a tough Groundhogs squad up next and an earlier season loss to the Crocs it's hard to see ACA sneaking in to the playoffs now.

10 Nashville Hounds (5-9)
11 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners (5-9)
12 Denver Giant 9'ers (3-11R)
13 Philadelphia SEXY Demonik (3-11R)
14 Minnesota Eagles (2-12)
15 The Outlaw Assassins (1-13)
16 Chicago Bears 85 (0-14R)

Canton is locked into 7th seed. They can't move up to 6th because of the tiebreaker with 5th, and they can't drop to 8th because they have the tiebreaker with Storm City.

8th seed is still up in the Air but it is Stormwind's to win.

The 5th Masterminds are stuck in 6th as the Lions are a lock to beat the American Predators.

8th is up for grabs, and 5--3 are still all contested.

TY Crypt. I didn't have time to check all the tie breaking scenarios and you cleared it all up nicely for me.

You left out the East though

Playoffs?

East is simple.

Mice locked in at 1
Winner of BO7/ATKM is 2, loser is 3
Aggies are 4
Vegas is likely #5, but they have 2 tough but winnable games left
Punx will probably go 1-1. They would have to beat BO7 and have Vegas drop one to move up or have Vegas lose both.
Gulf Coast is pretty much locked into the 7 seed
Oakland is likely to lose their last 2, but have the head-to-head over ACA, meaning ACA has to beat Punx to get in the playoffs.

My magic 8 Ball says that is unlikely.

Seeds are pretty well locked into:

Mice
BO7/ATKM
Aggies
Vegas
Punx
Crocs
Oakland

Top 4 will win in the first round and then the scramble begins...

I fully agree with your assessment mbinger. ATKM/BO7 is meh, as Day 36 is the game both are looking at.

WEEK 15 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl (15-0WL) - After dismantling the Timberwolves, the only thing remaining between the Growl and a perfect regular season are the Masterminds.

2 American Terrorists (13-2) - Big win over Tulsa as AT harassed their QB all day long and racked up a whopping 12 sacks and 10 hurries. The D also recovered 3 fumbles on their way to a rout.

3 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (13-2) - MEM comes away with a narrow win after giving up 13 points in the 4th Q that made this game much closer than they wanted. Barring the Spoilers upsetting AT next week, MEM is locked in as the 3 seed now.

4 Tulsa Storm (12-3) - Tulsa had some costly turnovers and coupled with their lack of pass protection it led to a huge loss against the Terrorists and just added another twist to their week 16 game against the Lions which will decide who gets the final home playoff berth. With a rematch against the Lions pretty much guaranteed the big question is whether either team will hold back in preparation for the 1st round or go all out for home field advantage.

5 Vancouver Lions (12-3R) - Gave up the first points of the game but from there they went on to score the games final 34 points. Next weeks game against Tulsa is for a home playoff spot but, as stated above, it won't change their first round matchup.

6 5th Masterminds (10-5R) - Played one hell of a defensive game in keeping MEM to 17 points but they failed to get on the scoreboard until the 4th Q when they mounted a comeback attempt that fell 4 points short. It won't get any easier next week against the Growl but there's nothing to really play for at this point with the 6th seed theirs.

7 Canton Bulldogs (9-6) - An ugly win over the Spoilers but a win's a win. Trailing 0-3 after 3 quarters, the Bulldogs took the lead in the 4th by scoring the quarters first 10 points but the Spoilers were insistent on playing the part of their namesake and tied it up with a 74 yd TD play close to the 2 minute mark. The Bulldogs opened up OT by methodically driving down field to come away with the win after scoring on a short TD run.

8 Newfoundland Penguins (6-9) - The Penguins take advantage of their easy match up to get a big win that puts them in position to lock up the 8th seed if they can beat the Bombers next week. One thing is for certain at this point, whoever locks up the 8th seed will do so with a losing record and right now it's very possible that the Penguins, Covington and Stormwind could all finish at 7-9 so this one could come down to who makes the least mistakes next week. Penguins can not afford to fall to the Bombers next week.

9 Covington Black Knights (6-9) - Back in the playoff picture after knocking off the Gryphons. The road ahead is tough with Canton and it's a must win but the Knights also have to hope that the Bombers step up next week and take down the Penguins. The Knights definitely have the tougher road out of the two teams.

10 Stormwind City Gryphons (6-9R) - Stormwind's failure to get in the endzone on offense hurt them against Covington as the Gryphons lone TD came off an INT in the 3rd. Even with those struggles they had 19-10 lead after the pick 6 but on the ensuing kickoff the special teams unit gave up a 95 yd return TD that narrowed their lead to 2 points. The Knights would go on to hit 2 more FGs in the 4th and hand the Gryphons a crushing loss that sets them up for a 7-9 finish and opens the door for the Penguins to slip in to the 8th seed due to a head to head tiebreaker.

11 Bay Area Bombers (6-9) - Took down the Jokers after falling behind 3-17 in the first half and as crazy as it sounds this team has the slightest of slight chances to make it into the playoffs. It would require all 3 teams ahead of them losing next week which I don't see happening but you never know.

12 Sin City Spoilers (5-10R)
13 North Texas Timberwolves (3-12R)
14 Arkham Asylum Jokers (4-11)
15 American Predators (1-14)
16 Wisconsin Rapids Red Raiders (0-15R)

EASTERN
1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice (14-1) - One more to go and the #1 seed is theirs.

2 All The King's Men (14-1WL) - After falling behind 0-3 in the 1st Q the Men put up the next 17 points through the 2nd and 4th Qs while keeping BO off the scoreboard until the final 4 minutes of the game. That was just enough to come away with a 7 point win.

3 Black Ops 7 (13-2) - With the run game struggling BO had it's problems finding the endzone and fell 10-17 to ATKM in a game that was ultimately pretty meaningless and has no effect on the standings.

4 College Station Aggies (13-2) - Stat fest continues next week.

5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (10-5R) - Big win over the Crocs as they kept them off the scoreboard until the final 3 minutes of the game. Win or lose next week they still get the 5th seed with a head to head win over the Groundhogs earlier in the season.

6 Punxsutawney Groundhogs (10-5) - Escape with a 3 point win over ACA after heading into the 4th Q up 23-6. The Groundhogs face a tough BO squad next week and the only hopes they have of moving up to the 5th seed is for the Diggers to lose and BO to shut off their AI. Outside of that the Groundhogs have wrapped up the 6th seed.

7 Gulf Coast Crocs (8-7R) - Failed to get on the scoreboard for roughly 57 minutes and that won't cut it come playoffs. The good news is that next week is a gimme and the Crocs have wrapped up the 7 seed. The bad news, well, it's the same bad news as every team ranked 5-8 gets, they still have to face one of the top 4 teams in the first round.

8 Oakland Suppressors (8-7) - After an expected loss against the Mice, Oakland gets set to face LV. Even if they lose that game they still hold a tiebreaker over ACA so the 8 seed is theirs either way.

9 Atlantic City Affliction (7-8) - The loss to the Groundhogs eliminates the Affliction from the playoff hunt.

10 Nashville Hounds (6-9)
11 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners (6-9)
12 Denver Giant 9'ers (4-11R)
13 Philadelphia SEXY Demonik (3-12R)
14 Minnesota Eagles (2-13)
15 The Outlaw Assassins (1-14)
16 Chicago Bears 85 (0-15R)

About an hour or a little more. I do them while I'm at work so it depends on how much I can focus on it while avoiding work.

Thanks!
