Of course. One is a good-natured attempt to aid others while the other is blatant disrespect and a lack of cultural acceptance. Put yourself in a Christian's shoes. If you KNEW for a fact (and it is considered fact in the head of many Christians just like the lack of a God is considered to be fact for many atheists) that a man named Jesus came down from heaven and died for us... wouldn't you consider it your mission to spread the good news about Him? You might argue that saying "god is a lie" is exactly the same in the respect, but doesn't one seem to be done more out of love while the other is done out of spite?

i don't agree. You can raise children and never tell them killing is wrong, don't tell them its right either, guarantee you that if the world was raised this way, our murder rate would be a lot higher. The bible introduced the ideal that killing/stealing/adultery are all wrong. If it had never been said it was wrong then what would make it not right ? All im saying is that God our No god the bible is something this world needed, without it there would have been chaos.
