Of course. One is a good-natured attempt to aid others while the other is blatant disrespect and a lack of cultural acceptance. Put yourself in a Christian's shoes. If you KNEW for a fact (and it is considered fact in the head of many Christians just like the lack of a God is considered to be fact for many atheists) that a man named Jesus came down from heaven and died for us... wouldn't you consider it your mission to spread the good news about Him? You might argue that saying "god is a lie" is exactly the same in the respect, but doesn't one seem to be done more out of love while the other is done out of spite?

i am not at all religious but i wouldnt down those who are. If not for the bible the world would have no laws. no moral code and no structure, then u wouldnt be sitting there in that chair, considering this country was FOUNDED on god. And someone probably would have shot your retarded ass by now cause hey whos to say killing someone is wrong ?!?!?! Fucking Retard.

You don't need the bible or god to know what is right or wrong. If there was no legal punishment for killing someone people would die....god has nothing to do with it.

There were plenty of other "religions" prior to Christianity, and prior to the concept of "god".

Does anyone find it hypocritical that the most judgmental people on this earth are those of "faith"? Especially considering the bible clearly states its not up to them to judge others.... fucking classic.

Looking back on history much more hate has come from those of religious faith. How many wars have been fought and how many people have died because of religious faith.

Haha what a fool. Only a gullible would actually believe that a single war in the history of the world was fought because of "religion". Wars are fought because human beings are intrinsically greedy and constantly yearn for more [power, money, etc.], and leaders disguise this greed behind they're religions for fools like you to believe.

Modern day theologians believe what they believe because of who they are, not because they desire to associate with anyone who claimed similar faith in other points in history. Adolph Hitler, Joseph Stalin, and Mao Zedong were all atheists. The death total of those three men combined is probably around 100 million innocent lives, but only a flaming idiot would somehow try to fault an atheist of today for these men's actions.

whoa whoa whoa hold the fucking phone

When did I say all Christians were useless?

They're sub-human because they are so dependant on a mythical being to fulfill their lives

hmmmm i don't agree. You can raise children and never tell them killing is wrong, don't tell them its right either, guarantee you that if the world was raised this way, our murder rate would be a lot higher. The bible introduced the ideal that killing/stealing/adultery are all wrong. If it had never been said it was wrong then what would make it not right ? All im saying is that God our No god the bible is something this world needed, without it there would have been chaos.

You need to learn the definition of fact bro

And the argument isn't "We hate kind people who make others lives so great while we're trying to make them fucking miserable"

The argument is alright with following a man for the right reasons like IDK caring for your fellow man.

The argument is against people needing a religion to live or people who are only kind because they believe their god will let them live eternally if so

Also this country was definitely founded on god. That's why Thomas Jefferson was for keeping GOD out of the government body or the fact that GOD was added to the pledge of allegiance. BTW Thomas Jefferson is being written out of textbooks in the GODLY state of Texas.

Or it could be that people who say this country was founded on god fail to do their research and instead they watch and read what politicians and the news say.

It is quite possible that the US was founded based upon The Declaration of the Rights of man and citizen. Or you know god just said "Poof 'Merica"

Here's a tip: Christians have always been a big demographic in the US. If you pander to the big demographics you win elections and/or people watch your show. It's a crazy concept isn't it?

You just answered ur own question. Rights of man hmmmm . Now thats funny

Because god must exist if human rights exist

Or you could be like "holy shit lets focus on the title of the document instead of its contents"
