not true. I learned everything I know about O from my time with October WIldfire when thehazyone was OC. The guy was a stud coordinator.

Allow teamriots to explain things in a way that everyone can actually understand.
dimmy finster relied on teamriots for defense for a long time.
Then teamriots decided he would rather take a shit on GLB than actually play GLB.
dimmy finster does not like when teamriots is busier taking shits on GLB than when he is playing GLB.
So dimmy finster took defense upon himself, and turned us vanilla for the sake of week-to-week consistency.
IT worked.
dimmy finster eventually tired of doing all the work, and jumped at the opportunity to hire the #1 mercenary on the market.
it's also true that Moose Jaw worked through the lower levels by copying everything October Wildfire and thehazyone did.
if it weren't for copycatting everything that worked for teams higher than us, we would have never made it this far.
