haha not scared /b/rother. All my builds are open to the team, All builds have some sort of difference in training, and applying sps. This is the time all Gold teams boost. I am testing builds to make Short Bus better while sharing my info with everyone on PWU. I would of boosted a couple of days earlier I didnt have time as it practically took me all day to do the players I had along with adding level 8 EQ. Still lots of important positions unboosted, 2 QBs, 2 Hbs, a full offensive line and your free to boost as well, nothing is stopping you. Never expected to be this far in the Silver or GLB ran tourney so that's just a bonus for me. Also you should boost this time of year anyways to adjust for playoffs. I count count how many teams waited till the last minute to boost only to lose badly round 1. You do have to change tactics and if you don't then your hurting your team. Each season the magic number changes it seems so a few games prior is best. Although I wouldnt mind winning one of the tourneys, I really don't want PWU in gold. I already run the Offense for PNP and Short Bus is my team on the other side. Its bad enough when PNP plays Short Bus week 1 like we have 2 of the last 3 seasons. Like I said feel free to boost, we're not stopping you.

If any other team had boosted i'd have had no issue, but you're a Gold League owner and a self styled guru on top of that - the testing builds thing sounds lame to say the least.

The positions you list haven't been boosted for one reason - you don't own them.

To say you didn't expect to get so far is laughable - this is an obvious ego-massaging exercise for you - would have been better if you could have won the tournament without boosting though eh?

You are kidding yourself if you think PWU won't be in Gold next year - your only real opposition in your conference is the team owned by OSIRIS and he isn't boosting.

Like I stated in the pre-season thread (ManogWars) - all this hand wringing (I don't want another team in Gold wahhhh) rings incredibly false.

Sorry but I don't follow what the other 255 pee wee teams are doing. Not sure where i was supposed to read that your not boosting either team. Pee wee gold boosts after level 7, always have, Short Bus has always boosted then. You know what? Our builds are not that great. This may be hard for you to believe but that is one flaw for me is all the new training, adding points stopping switching etc I am not a math geek or nerdy enough to figure this stuff out but I made a point this season to do my best to figure out that missing ingredient. I think I found it with several positions. Take LB for example, this was one of my worst and always ended 13/13 or 13/14 if I was lucky. Now look at these two LBs and you can clearly see I am using same height and weight but different approaches and now I think I know the key to making a great, not good LB

Ive learned that applying the initial sps on CREATION is key on a lot of positions. I know what to spend the 15 boosted sps on and what to stop training and what to switch to. So you may think it's BS but if you ran down my roster you would know its a lot of testing things. Only thing I havent had any success with is DE's. DTs and O-Line. Although I think I found some interesting things in tactics at those positions. Only problem is it benefits teams with one owners because tactics need changing game by game depending on who you play.

True, won't argue that, I would boost the entire team. Really wish I had done the O-Line because I really wanted to play with their tactics as far as pass blocking vs run blocking and building 2 types, fast and agile with less blocking vs strong and more blocking. You have to keep in mind, since SHort Bus started in season 7, I usually only carry 3-10 players at most on that team. So I havent really tested anything out as far as builds and tactics go.

wrong. Thrace which is a very good team already said they would boost, I do follow my own leagues forum from time to time. Also I expect River Rats and Dharma or We bring you love from the otherside to boost. Everyone is wondering who will, I left no doubt about my team. I could wait until the 2nd round and be level 14 for the playoffs but I'll leave that up to the teams in my league to have that advantage. You forget, my time and devotion will be to Dotball and PNP, very little time for PWU. We lost in the championship game last season with Dotball, I expect to win it this season as we climb the ladder to World League.

I am aware of the fact you have beaten my teams twice this season - and that you did it unboosted.

Its what i'd expect to be fair - this is my 2nd consecutive season in Pee-Wee - how many seasons have you had?

10? 15?

The first game I lost by 50 points, the last game I lost by 14 points - I would have liked to have seen if that trend might have ended with an even tighter game in the 3rd game.

The idea of you being scared was obviously said in jest, because my whole point is based around the fact that as somebody who knows the game inside out (with all the testing you do) you shouldn't be boosting a Silver team if you are going to be competitive.

You are clearly a much better DoT builder and Co-ord than me - but now my long shot punchers chance of beating you has been removed with your boosting.

I'm one of the better Silver co-ords this year and i find this all very demoralising - how do you think the other guys are going to feel?

I tell you what, you keep testing things to the nth degree and spending a boat load of cash as you go - don't worry about the Co-ords who haven't signed up to your 'University' program.

You can plead all you want about the testing - the fact is people like you are part of the problem not the solution.

Why don't you build all these players for your Shortbus team then?

Why do you have to do it in the Silver leagues where the majority have nowhere near your level of knowledge and experience?

3rd or 4th, you have two teams in the silver final 4, seems your angry someone put a stop to your evil plan of monopolizing the system, I also wonder how others who signed up for the tourney feel about that as well.

Quite simply, didn't try as hard. Scored 73 the first time around. Took the game lightly and still scored 35. You did get a free score with the return late in the game, the game wasn't as close as the score shows. 400 yards to 100 pretty much 35-14. The only game we lost all season I didnt tag the rushing QB and thats all you had to offer. You are doing really well this season and I don't want to ruing your great season your having with your teams by dissing you but I am not going to sugar coat things when you want to air them out.

I agree, your doing an awesome job. However you do have two teams in a silver tourney which can be said that could be demoralizing to other coords in silver as well. As far as my league, the top teams all have either played in gold as an owner or coordinator or are affiliated with gold teams. I also bought this team while in copper to start a silver run with ANYONE and EVERYONE being able to participate. Wouldnt that be awesome to start form creation watching how a team is built, how it uses the AIs and watch the custom plays unfold during the season and watch the team be as successful as it can be while allowing everyone to watch it? Hell I think I am doing all silver coordinators a favor by showing them how its done. Everyone had an invite, sorry to those who didnt take the time or didnt care. There are lots that are using my plays and AIs and doing very well with them. Hell Thrace in my own league used my plays against me and almost beat me. Again I am doing a great service, and I bet the coords from silver if the team made it to gold would be very thankful. Where else are you going to get that much info, that much hands on? I have lots of cash and flex. Again I only make 3-6 players for Short Bus. I have been making more players for PNP than my own for many seasons. I have flex to burn and couldnt think of a better way. I could easily buy and boost my own pee wee team for the next 10 seasons and not lose sleep over the cost. I donate every few months to this game because I like it and I like the game to stay afloat. Why I dont just make all the players for Short Bus is because its the only Team in Gold who has carried a huge amount of agents each and every season. I am not going to break tradition to feed my ego as you put it. I promise you from personal experience, winning a championship with 25 plus agents is way better than winning with 1. Its like night and day.

It was hardly an 'evil plan' - I asked openly on the 1st page of this thread if was okay to enter both teams.

This is my second season owning The Warriors - the odds of things playing out like they have are slight.

I am a Co-ord with no Gold league experience and 2 previous seasons of Pee-Wee experience full stop and you are trying to make out that i'm trying to defraud people?

Sure I definitely took a gamble with the QB rushes in the 2nd game - based it on the game you mentioned - the fact that you 'tried less' actually worked to your advantage I was relying you ignoring the QB rush and focusing on the screen passes.

To say you didn't tag the rushing QB is disingenuous because your D was set up to stop the QB rush on every play.

To beat someone of your caliber means going all out on a particular tactic - half measures won't do it.

I've knocked off a few Gold league teams this year - but i'm not kidding myself about where I fit in, in the overall scheme of things - you guys are literally a league above and rightfully so.

As you have pointed out, I am not up to the standard of coach where teams need to fear playing me, or feel tricked if I have two teams.

I'm a silver level coach with silver level dots with 2 prior seasons of experience - that you think people should feel demoralized losing to someone with less experience than them is laughable.

I fundamentally disagree with the method you are using - you are coaching up a bunch of drones - and I guess we'll see how this plays out in the future.

yeah not sure what is up with the trophy situation, I think they just quit doing them. AAT from last season is still pending. Support says it falls on one person Max and he isn't bothering. Pretty lame to run a bussiness like that.

I've asked for the trophies to be uploaded for season 21 5 times and they said they would and it still hasn't happened. I don't know what I'm going to do for this season's trophies.
