Nah. Everyone knows what Lincoln did was bush. No other team has done it, and bhall even apologized. The only reason people are even arguing is because I'm the one saying it, and certain people will argue with me about anything, even though I'm usually right.

Really?

You gave up 5 yards per carry, after adjusting for sacks and a QB kneel.

If you take away the the 13 WR screens and 3 FB screens from the second half of the game, Lincoln loses 103 yards of offense. That still leaves them with a sizable edge.


You got dominated. The screens were incidental, imo.

the screens caused a morale spiral, which in turn led to other plays lincoln called being successful.

Thats just my opinion though.

I gave up 5 yards per carry because I was, ironically enough, devoting my defense to defending screens. The two screen plays accounted for well over half of Lincoln's completions, so calling them "incidental" is asinine. It's entirely possible that the Navigators would have beaten us without spamming screens, but the reality is that we'll never know because they were too scared to try.
