I don't know the guy, or care about him. However, I don't think he realizes that this idea has so many flaws that it pretty much has to go perfectly in order to work. By making a thread like that in GLB Main Forums he is basically setting it up for failure.

I love the enthusiasm here, but it really sounds like a lost cause to me. Unless you're going to address Bort directly about the prices/retirement returns, having a bunch of teams "boycott" the system by not boosting/etc. isn't going to help things. Especially if you create this blackballing type divide between boosting teams and those that don't. It's just going to complicate things.

Maybe since it looks like Dharma, FG, and NOWD are the only teams that have posted that they are on the fence we should have a boosting/CE merger to boycott the boycotters... Boosters helping boosters

But +1 to separated leagues. That's fair, you just gotta remember: It's about the money. Of course Bort would create a system where the people who pay the extra money on the game have the breakout players/teams.

How about I will propose this... If you can get all 32 gold teams (For next season) to agree to this then Who Dot is all for it and we will go along with everyone else... Problem is that you already know a few silver teams that are still going to boost like Fight Club and maybe STD??. (They already said that they will still boost so if they are in gold next season it will screw us all over).

In all honesty something like this would actually probably be set up if it comes down to the boosters getting shunned by others.

You might be surprised with a couple. I'm gonna enjoy watching this unfold. But $12 bucks just to make a fully boosted player position, plus another 9$ for CEQ... For little dots? It is a bit steep.

Actually if the so called boosters are blacklisted then I am pretty sure the boosters would get outside help from mods to fill their teams. TT pretty much just killed this idea by posting it in the GLB main. Mods were coming in there asking to build boosting/CE players for teams.

Yea I agree its a lot of money... What I don't agree with is screwing over my team. I am not the kind of person that wants to tell my team at the start of the season that they won't have to boost, then some team get nervous they are gonna lose or drop out of a league so they boost. I don't want to be the person that has to tell my whole team they have to boost or else we are going to lose. (The reason I say this is because I normally have around 20 agents build all my dots, and I really just can't mislead them like that and hope for a good turnout).

A big issue will be the inexperienced agents boosting,

I boosted my players 2 players on the Short Bus, and my TE on STDZ , but didn't boost any of the players on my own team this season. Just to save some flex on useless boosts this season.

I however, couldn't control the agents that boosted as soon as they signed. As much as it drives you nuts knowing you are going to have a player end up lower leveled at the end of the season..

Most GOLD owners don't have to worry about that because the majority have an experienced agent pool to draw from.

You can have all the alerts and posts in the team forum about waiting to boost but some random agent is going to want his HB or DE or whatever to be overpowered early...but with 256 Silver Teams gonna be tough to find teams that don't have boosters, and all it takes is a few for the snowball to gain momentum
