I'm going to reiterate this because I think that it is important:

There are a lot of great teams in silver because there are 32 teams in Gold.

If there were 8 silver leagues and no Gold league, and Gold had to redistribute their teams amongst the 8 silver leagues, I'm sorry to say this but many of you wouldn't be sniffing championships anymore.

In fact, we'd love it. We could take a break from gameplanning and agonizing over builds and tactics. We could hold off boosting until the playoffs because the regular season would be a joke.

Be glad that there is a PWG, or none of you would have a .gif to play for.

There are several Silver teams that could hang with Gold during the regular season, but only a couple that could make a decent run at a trophy.

Gold is simply a different beast than Silver, and while most good Silver teams think they are ready, many are not. Just look at all the one-&-dones from past seasons that win their Silver championships, only to not do well in Gold the next season and get demoted.

I agree that our league has gotten a bit out of hand. But to be honest, this is not true. The Mobsters are a powerhouse. We had 3 teams that went 15-1 and dueled it out, and the other 4-5 teams below are at the least, average. That's just the West.

In the East, we didn't gameplan, nor did Cascade and we both went 15-1. We also had some good sleeper teams in Spezia and Austin, Rockford. My point is, Silver 4 was really tough and it had the talent and power of the original Silver 4 that contained MMD, Dyslexic, Madison (who just dropped out of Gold after 3 seasons), etc.

I am sorta loling that the mobsters who destroyed everybody in their conference lost in the league game. Maybe their owner should troll less and game plan more.

I'm not saying my conference is awesome, but Lunch Box., SoA, STD are all good. Even Bangkok had a fully boosted roster. Top 5 seeds in Silver 3 east and west are all damn good. Every conference has talent, and sometimes teams get a lot of hype but then fail in the playoffs.
