Because this thread is the most pointless thread I have ever read in my entire life. I feel like I have seen this type of thread repeated between SI/TD and others in multiple threads and forums and there is no need for another flaming thread between these 2 parties. These threads alone (not SI's threads in particular) but where there is constant bashing and no sense of care for the game really is why I have stopped reading any main thread/forum

Bad threads never die, they just accumulate under dungys bed and he brings them back to the top every 50 days, right before another playoff collapse

You have to regularly make the playoffs to be able to regularly collapse.

I'm glad after 12 full seasons, you finally are going to have a team ready to TRY to make the Pro playoffs for the first time.

It's not as easy as it is in the minor leagues beating gutted teams and farm teams who aren't trying

What? I didn't buy a team till s7. I didn't start playing GLB till end of season 5. Guess what man, when your oldest player is level 51, and you join this game at the end of season 5 you don't get a Pro team to start off with, and they don't give you level 40 players. There is a big difference between me and you dude, and I actually like you, but lets be real, you started out in the pro leagues in season 1, and haven't done shit since you've been here. You have had a steady demise of demotion, and job firings, as I have become friends with some of the best minds in the game. In 5 more seasons, you won't even be relevant in a Pro league, and I will have at least 1 if not more WL trophies. 12 full seasons. lol.... I am glad after 12 full seasons you are competing vs s7 owners with a s1 team. Aim for the stars, if you miss you'll be amongst Tony dungy

If you spend $2,000 on the game, then suddenly people like you and want you on the team.

I don't like the game that much.

And just because you don't have any high level players doesn't mean that you couldn't have been in the top leagues as a GM or OC/DC. You talk a good game, but you don't really have any/much experience at the top levels.

If you aim for the stars and kick ass for periods, but just fall short, you'll be SI.

If you never try and just talk about how you are going to be great someday, then you can be a stern

I like you dude, but you are doing all the same things that led people to hate me (hype yourself and your team with no good reason to help recruiting). What you did in the pee wees and minor leagues have been proven to have no bearing on what happens at the highest levels. I at least had a track record of like 13-3 seasons in like 4-5 seasons in a row in a top 2 or 3 conference CPL East - only losing to Halifax and Marblehead on a regular basis. As the last couple seasons in WL have showed, no one has been able to consistently been able to beat those teams, so no shame in those losses.

Check the team that fired me (Over the Rhine) and how they fared after they fired me and see if they were better off without me. I was only there for a few games and never had control over even a single build. I tried to help them, but they wanted to lose their own way. The Krazy Monkeys were one of the best teams in the WL late in the season when I took over, but yet again, I didn't have build control there and warned them that the thing I told them wasn't going to work, didn't. Even still, as the youngest team in the league at the time with many season 2 and season 3 players (2 seasons ago), they still played extremely well under my control.

If you don't know the truth, you should learn it before you make a Fool out of yourself (pun intended).

Also, the only team that I have ever controlled that got demoted was my FARM team that I was disbanding.

You've been apart of 5 champion teams in 12 seasons. The Jam has won 4 titles in a row. and only 4 teams who actually had a roster had a lower level than us last year. Our farm team NBA Jam arcade/TE has won 2 championships in 3 seasons and won the most competitive 34 cap ever last season http://goallineblitz.com/game/team.pl?team_id=7406 . I have a closer comparison to Warren Buffett than you do to me. Hell your user 2000, and im user 200Kplus, and your s1 players are competing vs my s5 d45TE. All we do is win, you're not even in our league dude.

O, I just got offered the asst OC/DC of the Chocolate Blaze of the WL. I am sure they will fail now that I am going to be helping, but I would say that is an ok job.

PT is awesome. They should do very well in WL.

generally, oc'ing and dc'ing isnt a science, it's a time sink. teams get pretty desperate looking for help, and ask anyone on a team with a winning record. i've gotten a hanfull of unsolicited pm's asking to dc/oc world/pro teams over the last few seasons.

such is the nature of this game.
