eh, you should get your facts straight. ITS pm'ed me saying that the Kai would go ahead and enter the tournament. After the brackets were announced, he sent me a pm saying that he was going to be on the road and would not have time.

I don't mind people not entering the tournament, but that crap annoyed me, it takes me quite a bit of time to do the seedings and it's a slap in the face to commit to the tournament personally and then decide after the fact that you all of a sudden "don't have time."

To me it reeks of fear, whether it is or not is irrelevant.

I dont agree, the Elite teams are in the world league dammit. Maybe you can argue about ONE or TWO other teams that are at pro level and great.

Just ask ITS if he pm'ed me saying that every one on the team wanted to play and that the Kai was in. We even had a little pm dialogue after he sent that. I have the pm still but I'm not allowed to post pm's so I won't, but it's definitely there.

Like I said, I don't care if the Kai play in the tournament or not, I just don't appreciate saying that they would play after I specifically asked if the Kai were going to play or not so that I could slot in another team and then withdrawing after the seedings were done.

you set up scrimmages with teams and tell them you are going to gameplan, but then put in some joke gameplan to FUCK OVER the other teams owner and GMs. Than you troll the team owner and GM's joyfully about how you "tricked" them.

please change that to singular. TEAM. and clarify that with whom the owner of the team was (SI). But yep, guilty as charged and I'd do it again in a second. It was meant to be in fun and my team enjoyed it very much. SI deserved it imo for his cowardice.

This thread isn't about WW or MM. It's about the Kai pulling out of our tournament for the same reason ITS flipped on having the best teams in the WL....the Kai only want folks to think they are the best. They don't want to actually play the best.

Remember their namesake from the Karate Kid. A bunch of tough guys that aren't afraid to beat down a scrawny kid that doesn't know how to fight when it's 5 on 1. Then at the end of the movie when that scrawny kid has a gimp leg, they get embarrassed.

It's really no surprise to see the Kai act like this. First ITS wants the best teams in the WL, then his team gets into the WL and he wants a lot of crap teams included. Next a bunch of teams challenge the Kai at the end of last season and they duck them all. Then the Kai want in Hazy's and they see their opening opponent and withdraw.

Yup, I can see how the Kai would want to make this thread about someone other than the Kai, it's their best defense!

ok Hazy, but he isnt the only one that was on that team. Some people were looking forward to that game. It was the wrong thing to do

lol, you are making assumptions about the KAI and we BOTH know why. You are mad/jealous that we made it to the WL and you could not.

We are (for the most part) going to be playing the best teams regularly now IN the world league. We are setting up scrimmages for our benefit this season, not to prove anything to the WW. We want to win the WL

I'm talking last season, they scrimmed BFM and DD, that's it. And they scrimmed DD because their GMs there.

I'm not coming with any shit about ITS ubass. Just stating that he sent me a pm saying that the team would like to play and then after the brackets were announced sent a pm stating that he would be on the road and would be too busy. I just said that I didn't appreciate it. Honestly, the Kai have always amused me and I like them (a billion jillion times more than SI and ALB). I'd love to see them play the Wolfpack this season (and fwiw I don't agree with how packman and islander handle themselves at times in public forums, but they are big boys and are entitled to do what they want)

As for the other players/GM's on ALB - my sincere apologies... I should have pm'ed each of them after the game and apologized, I didn't think that it would bother them at the time.

What assumptions or are you going to make me dig up the quote where ITS says the plan to take the 4 Conference Final participants is a bullshit plan and he would move the Kai to OPL if that went through?
