It can get a little chilly in the Mole Hole, but we are below the frost line, so no -20 for us.

Hey, idk about Cinderella story, when 2 guys own almost all the players and you can set your game tactics on all your players they way you want and your team chemistry is that good, no wonder they are winning.

You keep saying chemisty made the difference, just randomly looking, here's a league where a 6 seed beat not 1 but 2 teams with higher level players, better records and MUCH better chemistry. Any given Sunday, for sure, but Chemistry certainly is not the end all that makes or breaks a team.
The 2nd one was 15-1! AND it's a team owned by all the same guy. So as you said, can set tactics for each player. And yet they lost to a 8-8 team. AND not just lost, got beat up pretty good.

To be truthful, I'm very surprised we won any playoff games, let alone made the playoffs. All our players except 4 started at level 1 at the start of the season. I've honestly thought that being outleveled as badly as we were in some games we would get trounced, but it didn't always happen. We were commited to this being a building year, but have been very surprised with the results. I personally thought we'd only win 3 or 4 games.

Yeah, everyone that has players, except one person, on our team knows each other personally. Actually, we all went to school together. However, bwtyler and myself are the only ones that put a significant amount of money into the game. So, yes, our tactics are always straight. It's perfectly within the rules to do this though.
It's not like we are doing like Richmond did and creating a bunch of fake accounts.

Also, after the 1st game of the year, my goal was to win 3 games. I think we've gotten a bit lucky at times along the way as well.

yeah i dont see any problem with one person owning a whole team or large parts of it
some people do though. but thats part of the whole 'your team is better thus inherently unfair' argument i never understood anyway

Yea nothing wrong with people owner most of the players on their team, as long as they are all on the same account.
I do find it interesting that both teams from the east fall under that model were the vast majority of players are owned by a couple of players. Obviously there is an advantage to that as is it easier to manage your players. And of course you do not have to deal with all those emails from players wondering why so-and-so is starting over them, etc. You know, the joys of managing 30 or so individual players on a team ;-P.

As YardDog pointed out in our team forum, chemistry seems to have a bigger role in the playoffs.
We'll know how big a role chemistry plays if the Dogs can upset the Rangers.
Let me guess, -20 wind chill?
-20 is spring weather here in Buffalo.

Good game to all 4 teams. Good luck to the Mole-rats and Rangers in the championship game. It should be a good one.
