Have the ones that have the problems with there defensive ends ever thought about taking a long hard look at there players build or actually doing some homework to find out what works and what doesn’t

Have the people who use the same retarded argument ever thought that maybe they have. What would you say is a build that SHOULD work?

Well you just keep thinking along those lines and while my guy records 30+ sacks {again} we can discuss the definition of retarded. Learn how to build a player for this game and you will be fine

Your DE hasn't had any close games whatsover. Your closest game was a 30 point win.

Yeah, but you played teams you outleveled. Teams with handicapped o-lineman. You're basically beating down children.

On an unrelated note, how the fuck did you get lvl 50's on a BBB team, chief?

http://goallineblitz.com/game/forum_thread.pl?thread_id=2519063 Read, then enlighten us please. And yes, we know we could bring our level 40s and 50s to BBB leagues, but not everyone wants to be stuck in BBB once we get past level 32 or so

Tell that to Klarg Williams, an LDE playing in EEA#7. 15 levels superior to most competition, and still sucks. LOL

What dose this mean? Do I need to rebuttal that back with 57 links to the successful DE's? Then what?

Yes, make a rebuttal linking 20 DEs who are having success in leagues with parity and equal level players.

And not one that's on a team who intentionally tanked to go 16-0 in a BBB league, bro.

You have 2 sacks against somewhat legitimate competition. And I am giving you the benefit of the doubt, saying a team you beat 33-0 was legitimate.

I was merely showing that's there's parity outside of BBB this season. Forgive me for thinking that I could provide evidence without public backlash.

It's primarily because whenever people complain about D-Line impotency, someone comes in and goes "HAY GUISE MY LEVEL 10 DE GETS SACKS, EVERYTHING'S OK NOW"

Well I'm a DE playing even competition in a shuffled cap 24 league,

You can stop right there. At those levels, most OT's have just spent in STR/BLK and maybe a little into AGI. By the time you're lvl 40, if things stay the same, you'll be a 200 FP dancing partner.

I disagree. I think that the shuffling of good teams into our league has provided us with stronger competition, especially in the O-Line. I can make the same argument that I don't have enough strength yet, so I should get pancaked more if a block is engaged, but I don't. So there's 2 sides to the argument.

Dude, don't even try to argue that capped leagues provide insight on other leagues. Like I said, my DE who was around level 25 at the start of last season had 66 sacks last season and has 0 this season at level 32 in a decent league. And there is NOT parity in your league so don't try to argue that either.

When did I say that it brought insight to other leagues? All I was saying was that in my 24 cap league, I've gotten x stats so far. That's all. When did I Relate it to Pro leagues? The interaction across the board needs an overhaul, but I don't understand where you're coming from with regard to this 'insight' or whatever.

I fully expect our team to be moved to SA AA next year, and I'll go back to fighting for 1 sack in 16 games. But I've been rebuilding with this team for 2 seasons now and it's finally our time to shine. I was only providing stats though. Sheesh, people draw conclusions from everything nowadays.

So let me get this right, you come into a thread talking about DEs being broken to say that your DE has good stats then you argue about your DE doing it against equal level teams but yet you think you're saying nothing? What's the point of posting then? If it's only to talk about your DE stats, take it to Game Recaps. This is a thread on how to fix DE interaction and why it is not working.

The thread title is 'Anyone having problems with DEs still?' and so I answered the question: not for me. I posted stats to support my claim, and was instantly blasted: 'LOL A LEAGUE GTFO NOOB'. I answered the question again and then provided my opinion that the interaction is still not fully fixed and needs more tweaking, to which you related something that I never even said. The thread may have evolved into talking about why it's not working, but I thought I would just answer the thread title and move on. Sorry I don't share your awesome opinion. Bort is already testing a solution to enhance DE/OT interaction by stunning the OT sometimes, so that should the the end of the thread by your accounts, right? Or do you want to bicker more about my simple post of information and answering of the thread title?

Bickering sounds good to me...you? Well, I apologize if you feel like I have attacked you but like I said, things get a whole lot tougher as your player gets higher level(unless you keep him in a low league). I know about Bort's proposed change but it has not been added yet nor has there been a date set(to my knowledge) where it will be added. It's also hard to be optimistic on this change when many of Bort's OL/DL changes have just made the DL off worse. Hopefully it will work.

Yes you posted your thoughts, however, you are not playing against rounded out builds. I have 5 OT's on my account. I know what well built OT's look like through the progression of their builds. In a lvl 24 capped league, you are not playing rounded out builds, thus why we say your argument is null and void. At lvl 24, most OT's are just starting to work on SPD, and maybe have 48 or 61 AGI. As they catch up in quickness, watch your production fail completely.

This.

Boosting takes the fun out of the game, in my opinion, but it seems like it's a necessary evil.

I don't like bickering too much lol. I would rather state my opinion and then let the flame wars proceed with other people, like this retard zilla or whatever his name is. I think that these changes will spark new interaction with the DEs, and I know of the tribulations ahead of my player once I reach higher leagues. But I feel like I've already been through a few, being on a rebuilding team and all. It's hard to stay optimistic when you're getting raped by 2 seasons straight other than that, I think this brief convo is over. I am tired of scrolling down our quote pyramid lol

Take a closer look at the ENTIRE league and tell me that again. And what’s the difference anyway. This thread quotes numerous agents who have stated they cant get there level 1000 guy to get a sack against an inferior level. So that has no bearing on anything
