Bats are to tough for me to fairly judge, suffered a terrible beating at the hands of one of Nagas top 3 or 4 teams, and beat us pretty bad(with some fucked up tactics at that). Then today you got a gutted team. So idk how you can possibly make a case to be so high.

Id say honestly, you're about in the 12-14 range in the league.


I orignally had them at 10 and thats without the newbies in there. I definately don't think they are better than the hitmen. I have them ranked 5th out of all garuda teams in the tourney, shuffle in the naga teams and they fall to about 12

I highly disagree if South Austin is any lower than 10 on that list and I also think that any team from around 5-14 could be at any of those positions based on their two previous seasons of games and head to head matchups and such.

a little confused on why the bats are so high...? No disrespect of course...just don't see what your seeing at all.

I know for sure that Krungthep, Duluth, Semarang, and Manila are all on about the same wavelength based on play...no idea about the other teams as of yet.

Also your missing Okinawa as well.

That first game was a fluke (no disrespect to BLPP they're a great team). We weren't ready at all for the power tackling frenzy and the huge factor morale plays in the game now. We've made changes and I can rest assured that we wouldn't fumble 14 times if we played them again. They may still beat us, but it would be much closer.

At any rate, the middle teams are all pretty even, really, imo. Anybody can beat anybody, so it's really tough to do rankings based on 3 games this season.

As for Okinawa... unless I missed something, they haven't committed yet.


was your -0.1 rushing and 50% completion % also a fluke? Bandar has forced 14 fumbles since...its just what they do...and have been for a couple seasons now. I still think Bandar routes you either way. Just my .02

You also need to take note that yes, while our offensive gameplan was poor against them, it was without some key GMs being active as well as only about half our team was boosted (took some of them a bit of time to get the money together to boost their players) not to mention our offensive and defensive gameplans have shifted significantly since that game because of the changes that we've made and noticed in the sim (like always, things happen after the damn scrimmages that go unnoticed for the most part, resulting in scrabbling trying to fix things after the initial WTF moment is over).

We're in no way saying that Bandar probably wouldn't still beat us, but, it would definitely be a better game than what happened to us previously. Hell, out of the 3 games they've played, we held them to the lowest amount of yards out of any of them (sure, 517 yards of total offense isn't a great defensive outing, but hell, at least we can say it wasn't 600 ) and we held them to their lowest YPC average (4.2) going back to last season's 2nd round game against the Hitmen.

One would hope 12 fumbles lost (5 returned for TDs and another 6 resulted in short fields and 30 points for a total of 65 of their 103 points) would win you the game by a large margin.

Yep pretty much the 7 fumbles the Bats had against us took me by surprise as well, but it is what it is.

Bangkok had poor planning against SAB with limited time, but we lost so we can't make the best arguement we deserve a higher ranking just like you can't. I feel we alot better then South Austin, when we're fully prepared, but its just me just like how you feel you could keep it close with Bangdar, who is a great team(fwiw I had great success beating them when I DC'd in Naga).

I think Punk Jock Rocks was close when he said the middle teams were close, and anyone could beat anybody. Except I think the Mountain Men showed a flaw in that statement, that pretty much there isnt a clear cut #1 team, and anybody not just the middle tier teams can win on any given day.

Take the good with the bad and move on.

back on topic guys, I know you all think you can beat BLPP or have beat BLPP in the past(but apparently that team does not exists anymore, or you were fired) so can we get some legit lists going on

alright....i guess...may as well give yourselves the nod over Krungthep while your at it Bats.

Only thing I disagree with is Pa Dong being so high. I mean, they only beat HKH by 9 points and they lost to the Buddhist who consensus says isn't that great of a team.
