Honestly, most expeditionary installations do have internet...this should be an everyone thing, not just for certain users.

No, that would clearly have to be part of the initial agreement. If you choose to freeze your player you are going to take your chances that the game did not change horribly. However, the option should absolutely accept.

Yes, their are internet connections at the bases and installations --- not everyone simply sets in the base everyday. Many would still be away for protracted time periods.

Sounds like Ouinpis is arguing just to argue, you cant compare being deployed to a natural disaster thats not even close to being comparable. is someone is in a natural disaster and finds a computer to freeze their accounts im all for it, but i guarantee they wont even be thinking about it... if you get deployed at least you have some notice however short it may be and you can get your affairs in order. if something like this they want to continue when they get back then should be able to pick up where they left off not have to retire players and start over

and the argument about updating players and rolling with the changes is ludicrous, every active player today has had to adjust with the game why wouldn't they? they will not have lost sp but rather they will just starting building towards what is the next trend like everyone else

lets put it this way... if u couldnt be in this game for a long time wouldnt u like to come back and be able to still play without being ruined

I completely agree if your player is not on a team then you should be able to freeze your players so that they don't deteriorate when ur not playing. This is like an option they have on the Warbook application on Facebook where you can put ur account on vacation mode.

I'd be for this. I've heard it called "stasis," and it makes lots of sense because people do have real lives.

Time continues to pass for any players that are signed with a team, but any that aren't signed (whether because they were released or their contracts run out) are in stasis and won't gain anything but won't age, either. I'd say minimum time = 45 days (approximately one season).

So if you have to be away for whatever reason for several months, you won't find your 8 season old players suddenly in decline, unless you already signed them to long contracts and the owners refuse to release them.
