No actually, my previous post was a play on words. Ohio being the Buckeye State, people from here actually call anyone from Ohio a "buckeye", regardless of college affiliation. They just ought to root for Ohio State, too.

I hate to bump this thread... but it looks like the only way the Buckeyes can move up now for season 8 is if they replace a CPU team.

I have... the only guts to my knowledge in Zeta are MTD and the Swarn. I would imagine the Buckeyes and the Rain (since they both lost the Zeta conference championship) will be first in line to replace them... that said I dont know Borts criteria for promoting teams when teams are relegated because of guttings.

I do however . My first team G-Town Connection made it up here because of a gutted team. It goes down a list..And I don't feel like looking it up right now for how it does.

The criteria for promotion: playoff victories, then regular season victories, then regular season points scored.
The Alpha/Zeta thing doesn't matter. So usually the first teams promoted are the conf. championship game losers. After that if CPU teams still need replacing the team with the most wins that lost in the second round of the playoffs will get promoted and so on.

It always annoys me reading the Carlisle Sentinel and seeing all the Penn State haters around here. (Carlislie, PA newspaper) Support your damn local college football team.

conference doesnt entirely matter...some teams switch conferences in promotion.
