So right now, I have 2 choices:

1) Still run the tourney knowing that the first date of friendly scrimmages available is in 10 days. I would stop the tourney before the playoffs and continue it in the offseason or at the beginning of next season.

2) Cancel it completely and redo it at the beginning of next season.

There's only 6 rounds, if everyone gets their friendlies in quickly then there should be no reason why we can't finish this by day 34. This would take us to the 2nd day of the playoffs, but I think by then the 4 teams that are left have enough scouting that they should be able to gameplan a playoff game and a tournament game at the same time.

Also the 10 day gap should give plenty of time to set up the bracket and get friendlies set up.

6 rounds in 12 days, knowing that there is 16 slots/day and the 1st round would take 4-5 days.

If the teams still want to do it though, I can continue it and see where it would be going when we will be at day 32.

6 teams left, I would like the brackets to be done today, so we can get the 1st friendlies available for the 1st round.

I don't see no reason this can't run through day 40. I ran a tournament last year in the playoffs for non playoff teams. I know some people are worried about the effect of scrimmages on playoff games, but they could just set their matches for their off days.

So let just hope that 6 more teams will enter the tourney ASAP, so the brackets can be done and the games can be done as early as possible.
