Trial and error with almost 800 billion dollers No Thanks. Ya know what no one has shoved a cock in my ass but I am not willing to give it try (no thanks on that trial and error).

Omg did they pass it? *shakes head* Dolts in Washington...
It's not passed yet but is apparently close. Stupid idea, IMO. These companies will do the same shit again if they survive with this.
The government is playing russian roulette with the interest rates and they've shown no inclination to stop. This will certainly happen again, we're just out $700 billion. No big whoop, right?
How is it that everyone and thier brother sees this has a bad idea that will not work, but our elected officials can not. Do they not listen to the people they represent. I have yet to talk to one person who thinks this is a good idea. Does anyone have any insight to what they are thinking, is this another scam by our goverment?
I find it funny that we can not trust/believe our represented officials but term after term they are voted back in.
I think at least some of them know it is a bad idea but do not want the crisis to happen on their watch. So they'll pass the buck, and spend 700 billion dollars to make sure they can get reelected a time or two more before the government's completely fucking up our markets and interest rates crushes us.
I mean...if two companies had a stranglehold on an industry, would you trust they're setting competitive prices to benefit the consumer? It's far too easy to make deals that will benefit them both and screw the consumer. I really don't think our 2-party system is any different. I can't remember when was the last time I saw them do something that made me think "Gee, these guys really have our best interests at heart." We need to start voting outside the system to get any change imo.
All that being said, I am literally feeling ill. I really didn't think they'd be stupid enough to pass this and it's making my stomach physically sick. Sorry stickman et al, but I really can't continue to talk politics right now. If you want to continue discussing, maybe I'll be up to talking politics in a day or so.

Beautiful sentiment my friend.

I think this seems like a good place to stop as well. We've all expressed concerns and views in a manner more civil than I actually thought possible on an anonymous internet forum (for a football MMO nonetheless).
I will end with one last comment that people can read anyway they want, but I hope that the real debate continues Friday night as originally scheduled, so that the American people have a chance to hear the candidates views from the candidates.
Thanks,
StickMan

Agree. Sorry for any hostile tones, things tend to get heated when you care about something. Hopefully I kept them out, but I know myself and some probably slipped through.
PS - love your avie. And the thanks schtick. Much better than

The idiocy of Sen. Obama?
I'd be willing to wager that Obama would be considered the more intelligent of the two candidates. Not an attack on McCain by any means, just an acknowledgment of Obama's accomplishments and ability.
He's also the better orator and writer.
I'd be surprised if he doesn't come out of the debates with a larger lead. He's already beginning to pull away on the economy.
McCain has even acknowledged in the past that economics isn't his strong suit. As our declining economy rapidly becomes the #1 issue for most Americans, he loses footing. He previously was viewed by most Americans as being a superior choice for homeland security and national defense; he probably still is. That isn't as important to Americans right now, though.
HAHAHA.
wow, You're dumb even for a democrat.
I'll give Obama this: charisma.
He is a fantastic speaker, although he doesn't make much sense most of the time, and his voice is as slick as we've seen since Bill Clinton's.
What I'll give McCain is this:
the inability to raise his hand above his head due to how many times his shoulders were dislocated in Vietnam, from being a POW.
a fantastic beyond debate VP in Sarah Palin. The only dirt the liberal media can come up with on her is that she has a kid with mental problems, and a teenage daughter who's pregnant. Anyone seen her? I don't blame her for being pregnant.
I could let the list go on, however, my fingers hurt.
about Obama's book...
He says in his book that he smoked pot in college, partied a lot.
His wife said she wrote an anti-white paper in college.
Attaboy. Way to be a racist in a country in which you are the minority by around 87%.
But he is a good speaker....
"In case you missed it, this week, there was a tragedy in Kansas. Ten thousand people died -- an entire town destroyed." --on a Kansas tornado that killed 12 people

oh, and what exactly ARE Obama's accomplishments? Half of the time when a vote is being passed, he doesn't mark yes, or no, he marks "present."
I don't have the statistic for this because I'm too lazy to look it up, but he has done it a lot.

d00d he was a community organizer which makes him like Jesus somehow. At least that's what my facebook friends keep posting on their walls.

I just listed a sample of them, cantstop.
Yet you just asked me list his accomplishments once again and returned to making comments about his drug use decades ago.
You additionally brought up the topic of his wife's thesis paper. This has been discussed before. I think I've actually educated you on this heresy before. I will link you to this once again: http://www.snopes.com/politics/obama/thesis.asp
Unfortunately it looks like you are unable to actually actively participate in topics like these and are totally incapable of reading. You just repeat the same shit over and over. You'e hopeless. So much like Stickman and the others who constructively participated in this thread I'm going to bow out and let you and tjking (who at points seemed to attempt to engage the topic seriously) be total fucking idiots together.

oh lay off, I was just poking fun at the "Obama = community organizer like Jesus, Palin = governor like Pilate" posts all over facebook. Haven't you seen those?
edit: Man gotta get a sense of humor up in here. Eh well, Admerylous probably just pissed cause he has such a shitty SS.

To be honest Admerylous, this is the first time you've "educated" me in politics. We have never argued over politics.
