As stated in the original post and an update, no late picks will be accepted this year. At all. Sorry. You have plenty of time to get it in. Given the size of the contest this year, I just can't do it.

I appreciate all the help. In future weeks, deadline closing posts (like today) would be helpful, as I'm not always around at the deadline. Also, if people can keep an eye out for illegal picks and point them out. I'll still do that, but it isn't always instant and I'd prefer people don't get eliminated for that.

To help me out. In future weeks please spell out the team name or make sure it is obvious who you are picking. Also, for your own sake, include your previous picks so you don't make an illegal pick. Here is an example of a well organized week 3 pick (matchups not real):

Week 1: Gunny Highway's Recon Platoon over Cypriot Freedom
Week 2: Mayan Mauraders over Emmaus Fighting Green Hornets
Week 3: Honolulu Hurricane Wife Carriers over Monowi Wowi

Also, you can make picks in advance. So if you won't be around or want to make sure you don't miss the deadline, make your pick in advance. Make picks for the whole season, even.

Yeah, during the week I can almost always post the deadlins....not as likely on the weekend...so we'll have to go by forum post times.

As for illegal picks, I can try....although I assume it just gets harder as you go

I think if you PM'd Catch some tips that will make it easier for you the guys that entered would take a look at it.

Illegal picks are going to be VERY hard to spot, and this thread will fill up so it'll be hard for someone to see a comment on it, too.

If you do spot an illegal pick and want to help out, you may want to PM the person directly so they know.
