i really don't think it's cheese. The D gambles and brings one more then the O can block. What I hate is the OCs who cry and link plays where all the backs and TEs go out for the pass. Look this blitz gets there too quick! Oh well maybe if you left some blockers in then you could buy some time.

I agree totally. I didnt like the argument of "all you have to do is TE Pass Blk Left" that bolick kept throwing out though, that's ridiculous that you are forced to never send your TE out on a route just because the blocking logic was fucked. I understand the overload. Hell I kept either the TE or the HB in to block on most all my SB passes last season, but to be forced to do both becuase of those up the middle blitzes was terribad....

yeah flipping the TE isn't a fix all. I saw lots of posts in another forum about watch out for these blitzes. Out of base sets but in every link the FB/HB/TE were all running routes. So to me that's just stupid. I can't stop these 6 guys with my 5, bort help me.
The singleback blitzes are the hardest to stop because the QB is under center and half the time the HB doesn't even get up to engage the free blitzer. You can counter a lot of this with different plays and with progressions but sometimes, that LB just gets through before anything can be done. It is what it is. Shotgun on the other hand gives you a bit more time just because how deep the qb starts out.
