Currently every team in GLB has a scheme it runs and recruits people that fits that scheme.
As a builder this asks you to be focused and it gives you the freedom to compliment (with an individual SA) the idea that you have for your player.

i agree. Didn't mean I didn't think this, just that among all the positives I think the one big drawback is that it'll increase cookie cutter builds.

Where are these beautiful super team playing HB creators who aren't going to choose Speed, Agility, Strength and Carrying as their majors? Or CB builders who aren't going to pick Speed, Agility, Vision and Jumping as their majors? Or DEs who aren't going to pick Speed, Agility and Strength?

I wanna play that GLB.

I heard the casual leagues are pretty lol like that.

Casual: Doing what it takes to win, as long as it doesn't take too much

Your not sucking me in this time DB!

overall i think most people are happy with this change. Some people just like to act out and bitch in the forums.

May as well just move forward with this and lock this thread.

can you elaborate on this

if SA's aren't in an archtype, they won't ever be in your store?

or did I miss something here

We're going to be doing a archetype specific SA that will only be available for that archetype.

so basically, I'll never be able to get a LB with a couple of pieces of SV - which really sucks since their SA trees are horrible

or a CB KR/PR with 2 pieces of Spin

I think this decision needs to be revisited, unless I am not reading things correctly

With these new Archetypes...

Is it possible to add some new training combos too?

I know I am really late to the party but has this been tested and thought out completely. This is a complete overhaul of the system and damn close to what I posed in the survey but a misstep in something this major could cause a huge problem down the line.

it might make sense to push this back one more season and have people run a bunch of data through the builders to ensure that this does not produce something that is very game breaking. I cannot imagine that this had been tested fully yet or that it can be tested in 40 days.

Sometimes patience and thorough testing is the best course.

Push it back?

It won't be coming in for like another 2 months.

Why do you have to redo it? You really don't.

Those of us that understand its a RPG as well understand that the benefit of having a superior player is in the percentage increases that the rolls will go your way. How is it not more beneficial to not just reroll a team as opposed to trading them into the new archetype players. Notice I said beneficial and you said basically you don't have to. Sort of a big difference there.. Being that the auto leveling is changing, you would benefit from scraping and starting over. The cost of doing so is what a lot of us are having the problem with. Not the new system I'm thinking....

Archetype =/= Position

Archetype = Type of player in that particular position. What they specialise in.

I think Catch means they're working on NEW SAs that are specific to each architype.

I didn't read it that way - but I could be wrong - would like Catch to weigh in

all the SA's mentioned that I noticed are already in the SA trees for the positions

Making customers happy is my number one priority but if there is one thing I know as gospel it is that I will never make every customer happy. I'm more than happy to talk with anyone and everyone about their issues though but sometimes you have to be firm about things and say no to get things done.

That's another statement I see that flies around more and more Everyday. Not gonna make every customer happy! Looks to me more customers are displeased with this idea than pleased! Again some things needed to be tweaked not over hauled!

I think you are not reading things correctly....I believe the "Blitzing LB" SA, which currently doesn't exist, will not be available in the AEQ store. you will also be able to choose any SA at the beginning of your build that you can add points to, which doesn't currently exist.

So for a Blitzing LB, they would have the "Blitzing LB SA" and you could also add Blitz, or SV, or something else....I believe.

Ummm no you can get AEQ with SV. This has nothing to do with the current AEQ.

For example, let's say we make a Scrambling Passer Custom SA - it'll be something like "Runs Fast" - THIS SA would not be available through AEQ, all the other ones would still be.
