So basically, you were too dumb to go to college... ?

Its not playing God. Its simpley using available resources to get a outcome that is beneficial to us as the human race. If stem cell research is playing God then if you want to go extreme then isnt any kinda of medical procedure playing God? Are you against organ transplants? (Yes I know I am being extremely extreme here)

My hometown is getting a new factory to make electric cars. Think they were gonna run about 33k or so. Not sure when production is set to start though.

NO, if you read into what he was saying, " The rich boys went to college while the poor boys stayed home and found a job" I guess the education didnt pay off alfies. Its okay though bro, your parents have a room for you.

Stem cell research conatains manipulation of the human body. Organ transplants are filled with rejection and failures. While it is splitting hairs, I certainly believe one side of the hair crosses the line.

Well, I'm not rich and I went/going to college.

The only conducive answer is he was too dumb to get in if he was also too poor.

You're just mad Brent Hawkins is the best DE in BBB4.

and organ transplants don't manipulate the human body?

#1 alfies is a biased racist since he thinks hawkins is better. #2 transplants are a continuation, not a manipulation. From now on, If I continue to teach you peach fuzz boys, I want some compensation.

ma·nip·u·late /məˈnɪpyəˌleɪt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[muh-nip-yuh-leyt] Pronunciation Key - Show IPA Pronunciation
–verb (used with object), -lat·ed, -lat·ing.
1. to manage or influence skillfully, esp. in an unfair manner: to manipulate people's feelings.
2. to handle, manage, or use, esp. with skill, in some process of treatment or performance: to manipulate a large tractor.
3. to adapt or change (accounts, figures, etc.) to suit one's purpose or advantage.
4. Medicine/Medical. to examine or treat by skillful use of the hands, as in palpation, reduction of dislocations, or changing the position of a fetus.

so definitions 2, 3, and 4 would all describe a transplant without question. maybe you should do some research before presenting an argument as fact and calling names.

it really does. i would recommend it to anybody that decides to use a word that they don't really understand to support their arguement. it might save you some embarrassment.

i know that people here don't want to accept the fact that i know more than them, but you can't argue with a dictionary. that shit is like...science.

I don't understand why we can't talk about these things without making false, erratic and entirely unfounded or unprovable points.
"9/11 wouldn't have happened if Gore was in office.."
Perhaps he would have seen or listened to the warning signs more closely, perhaps Al Qaeda wouldn't have come back for another go on the younger Bush. There's no way of proving this.

Then to claim that by taking the War to Iraq we're fighting terrorism there and preventing it from coming here? Have you forgotten why we went to Iraq? And so by having troops in the Middle East fighting wars there terrorists are unable to attack our country? So many uneducated, ignorant people for years have been lumping Afghanistan and Iraq together and making these broad generalizations. That has to stop.

I grew up in single unit naval housing, only to leave the "comforts" of naval housing and live on welfare for a large portion of my young and teenage life. I'll be coming out of school a quarter of a million dollars in debt to get where I'm going. I'm sensitive to the issues of impoverished individuals having disadvantages and the resentment you may possess but I don't want to hear shit from some plumber and god knows what you do, Maxandsam, about my attending college. What does that have to do with anything?

I'm done with this thread. Sorry that I asked who you may be casting your vote. It is entirely my fault because I damn well knew where this could possibly go.

I see...So because you were on assistance growing up, and my parents a)made too much for assistance (and wouldn't have taken it if they could) and b)didn't make enough to send me to college, I'm supposed to bow down to you and your 1/4 mil debt. Fuck off bro, go earn something for yourself, then come talk to me...and because you owe for your education, certainly doesn't mean you earned it.
