Willard, Willard, Willard...the fact is there never was a 'clean slate' you know it and I know it. I would have to say we have been fairly polite to the people who haven't tried to start shit with us. It's the guys like you who are trying to ruin it.

I don't mind making an ass out of myself to get some honesty out of you. You WANT to ruin our forums. You can't help it. It's because you are immature.

I'm 24. I don't know if that's young or old, but I do know that I graduated middle school a long time ago, and therefore, ruining forums is no longer a pastime hobby of mine.

I'm just tired of all this "Give us a clean slate" talk when obviously you guys aren't making good use of it.

While I like that the Pimps are bringing a lot more competition to the league, and some much needed trash talk, I have to agree with jprietman. There's a boundary between trashtalking, spicing things up a bit, gloating, or whatever else your trying to call it, and being plain childish, there's absolutely no reason to act like a 3 year old who just found the internet for the first time. You aren't bringing anything good to this league, or more importantly your team. Publicity is a great thing, and if you guys start winning, I hope you trash talk, and its great if you get posts about you guys if you are beaten, it helps out your team's fame, your player's fame, and the league's. But running around here talking about genitals and t-noles' dick reminds me an awful lot of Health class in 6th grade, and sadly that's not a good thing.

Couple of points for you...if you act like this at 24, get the stick out of your ass and try going outside. You are way too concerned about the sanctity of an online message board. What else does it tell you when a good number of posters from other teams in this thread aren't really siding with you. They seem to welcome some of our funny side witted humor as long as it doesn't get out of hand, which it hasn't to this point.
Please show me where I have ruined your forums so far...you have no evidence. You are really just wanting to start shit, which is the part which I find funny. In fact by all means, go back through all the AAA forums and find threads that I started in an attempt to "ruin" the board.

Also for the record there is maybe only 2-3 of our guys that really care about a 'clean slate.' The rest of us are just laughing at you trying to play internet message board cop. Please continue Officer Willard (I still think you are an old man, not buying the 24 thing)

It seems like everyone else is glad we are here to make things a little more lively. Getting a rouse out of people is in our blood, not "ruining forums"

I don't post very often. But I feel obliged to this time. The Pimps have not ruined this form. Constantly calling us out, hijacking threads and patrolling us, does not stop us. You guys have to realize, even in the "Pro League" that this is still an MMORPG -- A role playing GAME. Games involve trash talk and silly banter.. Its life, its a joke. If you must be so caught up in the message boards on a Pro League in an MMORPG Beta Football game, then I am sorry for you.

We are a team just like you. We have earned our place here. We beat a very quality team in a very quality division. We have just as much right to post here as you do. We havent hijacked threads, we havent called any of you out and we dont patrol you. The one guilty of all 3 is you jprietman.

We all, for the most part, are members of Rivals.com

someone a long time ago posted a link on the rivals mainboard about this new cool football sim (GLB) and wanted to get a team together. This is where Kalkman comes in to play.

Our only objectives in the beginning were basically to run this game by having the most dominate team, own the forums, and just goof off and show Mainboard supremacy.

Over the following weeks however, a fondness for GLB grew. We started making more and more players, becoming even more active with the game. As our interest grew, so did the holes in our wallets and our mouths as well.

Quickly we were building one of the greatest GLB empires this game has ever seen.
At the beginning of season 2 I then purchased a team whose sole purpose was to be a farm team for the Pimps. Shortly thereafter we discovered it would be nearly impossible for this to work with the new chemistry factor, so now my team is pretty much its own entity, just run by the same people.

We've become too attached to this game though and we find ourselves enjoying it too much to just spam it and be total dicks, so we field an incredible team with tons of cash.

I figured thats where the "Rivals" came into play. It seems to be a fairly common theme for sports forums to have groups of teams on here, but I guess that makes kind of sense.

Especially since the timing of the release of GLB couldn't have been any more perfect, having been right in the middle of the real football offseason and we were all desperate for football.
