Warrior General Games

I know it sucks, but I had probably 12 players on the team I just took over ownership of wanted out. So i gave them all their releases. hated doing it, but I'm not an asshole. Plus, I didn't want to deal with the drama that would have ensued if I didn't let them go. I now have a team full of guys commited to my GM's and I, and the team. Thats how I hope to build a successful winner.

Bell i respect your decision because i would have done the same thing. But running it their face by making a post on the forums might have been a little harsh.

And while i respect the players that stick out to the end of their contracts for teams that are going nowhere, i respect even more the OWNERS who pick up a shit team and make it into a good. one.

No, while disturbing, I do not recall you two being underhanded.

Besides, my 10 spd Center owned friskey's turbo spd WR in one of my favorite plays of this game, and doesn't get pissed when I tease him about it, hard to get made at that

I dont really think im hated, i bet 9 out of 10 of you would have done the same thing knowing the team was going to be sold...

Not worthy of hate, just dislike. Kinda like the feeling when you walk into a cheap motel, turn on the light and a roach scrambles for its dark hole. Sad that you think most have the same overabundance of fortitude that you seem to have. Though you are most definitely not alone, as there are enough examples of the lemmings of iniquity in GLB, thank goodness you are not the 9 out 10, but the 1 in 10.
