Pretty sure Wilson threw on the second 4th down … which was confusing, and falls in the terms of running it up. I couldn't care less, but they should have just "Slammed it up the gut", and that would lessen the complaints.

I'm sure they wouldn't have scored if they kept converting on 4th down on the Bronco's 30...

All false. They ran a fake punt that one guy on the field was suppose to call when he saw them in a certain formation. This was a call before the game even started because they felt like there was an easy weakness. And he was going for it on 4th down because if u get the first the clock keeps moving but if u made a fg then u have to kickoff. No point in risking them to return one. Also Tavares Jackson was in there on that 4th down drive. U really think they run up the score with back ups?

That SB was pretty shitty. Both the teams involved were uninteresting and the game itself was only fitting.

Uninteresting? Just the number 1 offense vs. the number 1 defense, Peyton Manning and Richard Sherman, the Seahawks don't get much coverage but they're a damn interesting team, and were completely overlooked. Anyone who thought Denver would win, or didn't show up should actually watch a 'Hawks game sometime. The Seahawks wear down and break teams because they're bigger, faster and stronger.

I know I'm late to this little party, but I've been a Seahawks fan for a very long time, and I think it's hilarious the misperception everyone has for this team and its fanbase.

ask anyone thats not a seattle fan if they liked the game. With all the hype on the game you except superbowls to be more competitive, Denver either had the wrong game plan, or just wasn't ready to play period

im a raiders fan yea yea i know

i loved the game cause i was so sick of hearing that denver and manning are the greatest ever, meanwhile seattles dominating defense go no credit and all the analyst were like manning is gonna roll seattle so yea to have these so called experts proved wrong is awesome. sure watchn teams put up points is awesome but defense wins championships

Sorry, Seattle just isn't remotely interesting to anyone outside Seattle. Denver isn't much better.

Your team was in the game so you should recuse yourself from having an opinion of the game overall. Of course you're going to think it was interesting, great, blah, blah, blah. You had a vested interest in one of the participants.

defensive wins champions huh? How many titles did those 80s Bears team win? How many more titles did that 2000 Ravens team win? I think people overuse that term, theres been alot more teams with mediocre defensives winning superbowls

This thread cracks me up.

Who the hell is DubJ's team? Must be from the coolest city ever.

Here is what you need to know about the SB. Denver found out real quick that they were not playing a sorry ass AFC defense and they got scared. Once the Kamtrak hit DT it was all over. The Hawks just played too fast for Denver and they had no answer but to try and throw the underneath stuff which is exactly what the Hawks wanted so they could smack them in the mouth.

Game over

And for the record, it would not have mattered which NFC team was in this game the result probably would have been the same. SEA, SF, CAR and NO all had like the top 5 D's in the league this year and all had pass rush which is what Manning hates the most.

My team certainly wasnt in the game, and I thought the whole thing was EPIC ... one of the best since the immortal 55-10 Super Bowl.
