When you make utterly moronic comments I take it as an insult because I consider my time to be valuable and you are wasting it with worthless drivel. Idiot, I provided statistics showing that no one is getting many PDs in GLB2. It is a problem with the game there, not builds. But for the record, yes, every single one of my points on my coverage LB over there have gone to what I thought would be PD-relevant skills. I just had the misfortune to try building something that has absolutely no purpose or value on GLB2.
Again, you point to stats as though stats explain why no one has stats. If you ever bothered to watch a GLB2 sim, you would realize why PD bots are having trouble getting PDs. It is a problem that goes far beyond the difficulty of obtaining a stat and is, believe it or not, something that both Bhall and I expressed on the test server. In rookie, there are many routes where the defender just won't stick to the receiver. There are many defensive plays where receivers are left uncovered or where the coverage cushion is such that you could not get a deflection. The zone defence in the early stages doesn't react quickly enough to the pass, so you won't get many deflections there either. It isn't JUST the difficulty of deflecting the ball when you are in the position to do so, it is that you are often out of position to make the PD in the first place.
Addressing the PDs issue involves a lot more than simply making PDs easier to obtain in the sim. So if I'm talking down to you because you are bringing up stats, it is because "the stats" aren't the underlying issue, it is symptomatic of a larger problem that you ignore. It is like the agent posting about how his QB isn't getting any TDs, completely in the absence of discussing the build of the QB, the RZ tactics of the team, the quality of the WRs, and the quality of the O-line.

I wouldn't agree that you are a "vastly" better builder at all. I build some high quality WL dots. My lack of success with this batch of dots had more to do with my failures as a coordinator than as a builder (also I built some experimental dots in key positions that didn't work out, not because I built them poorly, but because the build just doesn't work). Building is stale because once you've decided what you are going to do with your dot, you essentially are just plugging away with training. Maybe you will get lucky with an AEQ shop or two and that changes your endbuild a little, but not by a lot.
Yes, there are still things that can be tried. I was excited a few seasons ago by the success I was having running my QB up the gut, so I decided to build a couple of power rQBs that CAN run outside, but which are more of a pHB, but one that can use FS and Surge together with Spin and Power Thru. I say I "was" excited because I had the idea in June, 2013, had to wait until July for the new season, and my dots are just now at level 42. It will still be another few seasons before I'll even start to see if the build is going to shape up, and another few seasons after that before I'll try and convince some WL coordinator to take a chance on a different style of build. So you can see why it is tough to get excited about new builds the way I used to.
