very few rolls are needed to find the first 5% piece you need.
a few more maybe on the 2nd piece, and the 3rd can be a bugger, but its still always easier to roll than spend 75 tokens buying one!

fair enough as said if you want a SA piece to buy it as they are so cheap but if your looking for a 2nd piece and can settle for a 3% then its a doddle....

I may have been overdramatizing my clicking. I've only ever ruined one build with stubbornness, and it was many seasons ago, on a crap team anyway.

It was definitely one of the unluckiest streaks ever though. Think I blew through 100 BTs looking for the perfect piece, unwilling to compromise.

I think "compromise" is the difference here. Some guys have very specific builds in mind any they don't want to change that plan at all. Others are willing to adjust the builds a bit to allow the rolled AEQ to fit the build plan.

I've never had a problem rolling the first piece sometimes the second.

Some insist on getting both the +3 prefix and 5% suffix , where as I am fine getting either and adding whichever is missing.

I think maybe a lot o agents probably also focus on the body part. I may end up with 3 pieces all on shoes(for example) but I will not move any pieces until I have my 3 or 4 AEQ purchased. I figure some may already have shoes as 1st piece, roll their 2nd piece and find shoes with bonus they want, and then either not buy it because it's wrong body part or go ahea and buy it and quickly move it to an open slot .

It's better to wait till you have all pieces you need before moving any

This is spot on, but I kind of thought it was too obvious to say even. If you pass on a piece that you need because it is in a slot where you already have something, then you don't understand how opportunity cost works.

The worst luck that I have ever had rolling in the store was for my first bTE. On two separate occasions I was very drunk and decided that was a good time to demand that I find a +5% HB piece in the store. I must have wasted 200-300 BTs on that guy. He has played his entire plateau career for SSM and won a WL gold

I still roll for bTEs, not rolling is for chumps. I would only not roll for an rQB.
