Now matter how the sim is there will always be certain plays that are just best

RPP is the dumbest concept this game has ever come up with.

The reason it is boring is because it is what you see from every team in every game now because the sim has been stagnant for 5+ seasons.

Bunch/Spread was in fact that strong (against every formation too). Mike and Catch did tests on the server even to acknowledge it.

All bunch/spread did was force an early throw, and because it was a 6 man blitz it meant single coverage everywhere, so one fake and you had a touchdown.

Could the 4 active WL coordinators just calm down, we'll have another chance to compete next postseason

The testing they did prove you wrong but ok. I really don't care to argue about it. That blitz was just as lulzy as using SB Screen over and over and over on you until your eyes bled red.

The thing you still don't get is that a sack just means -5 yards or so, whereas a big offensive play means a hell of a lot more than that.

edit:
And even at its height, bunch/spread didn't work at anywhere near the frequency that screens do. I didn't like bunch/spread and asked that the coding on how to pick it up be tweaked, but you're not being realistic by equating that with offensive money plays.

I don't really care what you think about it because I wasn't the one who made the change nor was I the one who tested it.

And putting it like that honestly just makes you look as silly as the last thread you embarrassed yourself in.

You mean the one where you insisted that 5 wide is awful only for me to post stats showing that 5 wide was highly successful on your own teams? Or did you mean one of the threads where you pretended to know something about defense on GLB?

Plz to use 5 WR as your primary offense next season and continue to embarrass yourself on the subject.

As far as that zones thread. I already admitted to being wrong in. So feel free to continue trying to use that as some sort of high horse.

Nobody said 5 wide should be the primary offensive set. You said it was unusable period, I then provided stats from Saigon and BEEF showing it had actually been great on your own teams, and you continued to argue about it. You know more about GLB offense than I do, but sometimes you're convinced of things that aren't backed up by the facts.

And in regards to this thread, it's a fact that a sack doesn't have nearly the impact of a big offensive play. Defense in GLB (or football in general) is about limiting damage. If I get a sack 50% of the time, but you average 10 yards per completion, guess who wins? Turnovers are the only major weapon in a DC's arsenal. Sacks just shift the odds in our favor, they don't end drives by themselves and they certainly don't compare to big offensive plays.

Again feel free to use a bunch of 5 WR next season. If is is so usable, you would be using it every game. If you don't want to put your money where your big fat mouth is than you should probably just let the subject die. I just ran every single game you played this season (scrims, regular season, playoffs) and you ran 5 WR plays, 2 completions for 16 yards. Keep the lulz coming on how usable 5 WR is.

Im not pissed or something else, from my standpoint there is not a real difference between switching progression for some passing plays every few game or switching personal groups for running plays every few games.

Youre right, Big I is overpowered, some screens as well, but it is the same like some passing plays where you almost can be sure to get a fake or the receiver is running away from the coverage when he makes his cut.

You have your arguments as you like to pass or dont know how to run, I have my arguments as I like to run or donīt know how to pass. In the end I donīt care

Congratz Richey for winning WL

I like to run also, I like a balanced offense. COX was just a all pass team idea Bong and I did just for shits and giggles.
