By "new plays" do people mean 20 variations of plays we already have? I don't really see the need for new plays, tbh.

That's low priority bug, and now Bort has time to fix it, I think that means he doesn't have major job now?
And new plays should be "major job".
lol @ new plays...
Just so we can claim something is overpowered or that the "new plays" have bugs that needs to be fixed...
Rinse and repeat ::: Naaah

I sent Catch a bunch of remodeled current plays and there are also some new formations in the works.

Yeah, new plays are what this game needs. lol
This games needs are expired. What we really need is the new games. But until that point there can at least be a little bit of fun new toys to play with for a season or so.

Development focus is on the new projects. I am testing one of them now and expect we will go into Alpha testing before end of this year (I hesitate to give a firm date because if there is one thing I have learned is that all a set date does is lead to bitterness when said date is not hit).
We have put together some new formations and plays but there is no set ETA for them. They will be added at some point but we are not going to rush them into the game just for the sake of adding something new to the game. As I have explained before, coming out of Beta meant major changes would be few and far between. As evidenced by the change log and recent structure changes to Casual and Pee Wee, we are still very much involved with keeping GLB a fun and enjoyable game but I will state clearly that the days of a constantly shifting sim and game are firmly entrenched in the past.
Exciting times are coming though - that much I know.

O play creator for existing formations would keep me interested. New formations aren't interesting, they are a pain in the ass because of tagging. Last time you guys released the two TE sets I was ready to ragequit. Tagging plays based on the QB and the TE used to be sufficient (powerbacks used to be before all the powerbacks switched to speed, now you have to cover inside and out regardless). RTERTE/BTERTE/RTEBTE/BTEBTE for any combinations of other tags was a bit excessive.
Creating new formations just means a ton of work for DCs without any real extra "fun" being added to the game.

If they added an offensive play creator they would basically have to shitcan the new games.

Y'all got this game built up to a fair vibrating table football sim and quit on it.
What did your old football coach tell you about quitters.....?

not disagreeing with you. Any new complex formations (ie Wishbone) that would create new tagging complexities would only be available for casual and with specific defensive plays to cover those formations. We are not looking to add more complexity to the game.
