Should have just let them stay down...apparently EE stayed on vacay and bhall still has no interest...ending in another demote season. Shoulda just allowed the team to drop and another to come up who wanted to work hard and try each week. It's not a diss, as I see quite a few teams with zero cares right now, but if the team didn't make playoffs, instead of asking to stay and still doing nothing, give a new team a shot.

Can't say I blame you there..just thinking woulda been nice to let someone who wanted to try (and maybe has never been up) have a shot...

probably, but depending on the team, maybe the coordinators are new and they try, so even if they demote, the next time up they'll be more competitive.

It's possible...can't ague that...but giving someone a chance who otherwise might not get it and gets the experience is better in the long run, imho.

The spot always goes to a non-playoff WL team, not a Pro team that didn't make it.

probably biased and ultimately i suppose i don't really care what folks think - but it's laughable to me that the 5th best Pro League team would have been more competitive than SF. we 0cared and still beat 8 teams .. who either 0 cared or didn't have the ability to actually attack our static game plans.

Clearly you all miss the point, but thats ok. It's not about who would have been more competitive. It's about giving someone a chance who would benefit from it rather than keeping a team that will do nothing...they could have done nothing in Pro and still come in a high slot...but you are giving a chance to another team that maybe will benefit from the experience. I see a couple of Pro teams that did well last season, dominated this season and would have benefited from playing up here, even if they demoted at the end...just my thoughts on it...don't have to be right, but everyone complains about not having enough coordinators who care...well.
