Hey, thanks for signing my guy to your sinking ship. Why on earth would I make a dot in the future for your team when you give up before game one?
Why, if you want to be a great team, are you accepting auto offers from agents?
I don't expect ever to be on a great team, but I do appreciate owners that seem to appreciate what agents have done for their team, bringing their dot in, boosting him, etc, to declare that the season is a wash before it starts is demoralizing. Teams like this should start with a -50 in team morale.
So, before you tell your team you are packing it up before the first game, consider the time, money and energy each of the current agents on your team have spent to be a part of your team.
Honestly, as an owner, I do feel that owners definitely OWE their players tryhards and honesty. Hell, to boost a full team from start to finish is something like $2500. People are trusting you with $2500 worth of dots (if L79 team), the owner owes those players a ton, and at the very least owes them tryhards and doing what you can to win games.
With that said there are many not-good owners out there, and if you are accepting random auto-contracts you are asking to be placed with said owners who can't field a team by normal means.
