You ever see someone watch a CRT TV for a number of years and then someone gets then an HDTV?

They watch the HDTV for a few years and end up having to stay in a hotel for a month which has CRT TV... they buzz up the front desk asking if they could upgrade to an HDTV, or else they will never ever stay in that hotel again, and will tell others not to stay because the TV is no good

True story

If you want your dots to be able to cover, give them high speed, agility, and vision. ...you can't do that in the first season.

That was exactly where I was getting at. This season the goofy stuff is worse than any other recent seasons. My team was in rookie season 31 and I doubt we gave up 300+ passing yards ever that season. This season it's nearly every game. I'm not complaining it just seems something is different and I'm not adjusting as quickly as I need to.

Those were replays from Rookie. Just because the dots aren't currently in rookie doesn't mean that they didn't play rookie.

My God. If dots were that slow in NME I would stop playing this game.

that is correct...6 yr old peewee players run the wrong routes all the time...if your gonna say rookie is like 6yr old peewee then both sides of the ball should act that way..not just the D

why the heck wont guys stop when their man stops.. This is MAN coverage..they should be watching the man..NOT the qb...NOT the ball.. before some jackass says its rookie blah blah. My guy has 70 agility with gear at this point..WAY more than the wr he is covering I'm sure. How can coverage still be so crappy after 34 seasons...my lord

Also, why do the defenders lead the guy down the field in man?? In all my years of coaching football i have never told a CB to run IN FRONT of a receiver going down field.

Overshoots WR by like 7-8 yards and then just stops and watches him run by. Is this some kind of divine punishment for only having single coverage?

Below are the only examples from games of teams not almost exclusively managed and rostered by owners of rookie teams/players.

lol at people saying it's rookie issue.
It happen at every level, including WL.
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2331711&pbp_id=3502095 CB vs. TE
http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2331711&pbp_id=3502135 CB3 vs. WR3

http://goallineblitz.com/game/replay.pl?game_id=2331711&pbp_id=3502914 WR3 vs. CB3

And these examples are confusing as nothing really happens... other than the CBs didn't hug a bear.
Man coverage = man iso focus, not skin to skin, booty on booty.

Fixursliders and builds

Wondering why Gerr hasn't chimed in to complain about his rookies not covering well yet, maybe because his rookie team is rolling

pretty sure my builds are fine...i have sliders set in a logical spot...all my guys are set for semi aggressive and stay as close as possible...if there is some other bizarre setting that would work better...please enlighten me

Gerr is a horrible example because he plays a lot of zone, we are talking about man coverage. Zones are not a good idea anyways.

Torq - it literally has nothing to do with your defensive players or settings, it's the OFFENSIVE players who also don't have enough skill to change direction quickly, so the QB throws the ball to the route waypoint, and the receivers have stopped...
