Although you have a good team, playing in copper has it's advantages. No competition besides 3 teams from Gold who are worth noting that you guys have played. Not much to go on from a scouting perspective. When teams play in Gold for the most part they have to bring their A game. That means they are open to get beat on plays or at least plays will be tested giving OCs something to base their game plan on. When you have had no serious competition and the 3 games from Gold teams are so spread out there really is nothing to play off of. No repetitiveness, no themes, it's pretty much hit and miss. I spent 5 minutes or less game planning for the first meeting. Mostly due to the fact it was an earlier than usual game for me and I had to apply sps. When I went to scout, only team worth looking at was LGM and they are one dimensional (Running based type team) there was nothing to scout. Also playing in copper allows teams to wait to boost for the pee wee tourney when they play a tough team and keep training their 1st and 2nd gaining a slight advantage.
Not saying Whodey isn't a good pee wee coordinator because the defensive scheme is interesting. I love the scheme your using and if I had time I would run the defense you use so I could see what beats it but at this point in the game the time just isn't there. Another thing is your defense looks original and not a clone from another team unless I am wrong but it's quite inventive. Congrats for winning this tourney, and good luck in tonights tourney. I did spend a little more time on your team this morning but again there is nothing to base anything on because of the opponents talent in copper. I know Jkid wants it but for me I gain nothing from tourneys.May the best team win!
