I think we all can agree that the worst network in GLB was The Globedotters simply due to the name.

Correct. I've been bitching about networks during the whole time I was having prolonged success in the WL. I've been bitching about them even when I didn't need any dots, even when I was constantly making the playoffs, even when I was making WL title games and even after I won one. Do you see now why I get annoyed that your brain can't comprehend that my complaints are not about how networks affect me?

There can't be Pro teams good enough because DS doesn't let their WL quality dots that aren't needed for the WL teams play for anyone else. So the DS teams that they don't even care about end up having better dots than half of their WL competition. That's the point. *sigh* What characterizes a true "network" and what makes it harmful is that hoarding of resources. As I've said, DS is being discussed simply because they're by far the best at it and therefore the one producing the most effect.


Thats because Coords in pro suck.. They think they can use their dots better than the scrub coords in Pro. Its their right because they are their dots. Dots cost alot of money and they want to get the most out of them. I dont see what the big deal is?

There is some kind of formula that figures out which plays are "top plays" for a player so maybe that gives it a point system that you can use to find the top 10 plays from each set of games and then the calendar week.

back on topic, I wonder if the so-called hoarding is more for tracking purposes than anything else? I mean, you let dots you don't need on your top team(s) get outside your group, the more likely you forget about them unless you're so diligent you've got a master list or something somewhere. or the agent accidentally signs a 2 ssn contract or something.

but yeah, Idk that there's a solution beyond forcing agents to diversify their players. which ain't happening, ldo.

I don't think you could ever lose track. You could lose control, though. If someone lent out their dot to a non-network team and really had fun, maybe that dot stays there instead of coming back to the network. Meanwhile letting them go to other teams at the same level would obviously mean risking that they help that team beat you.
