Just rolled FIVE times with my LEVEL THIRTY FUCKING TWO(32) DE...

Bought a +2 AGL 5% Break block. Upgraded it fully.

Then a +3 SPD 3% Break Block.

X factor.

good for a WR or should I hold out for a better piece?

Yeah... not that good really. Most everyone of the old time builders only go for 5% whatever prime. Never settle for less than 5%. The +2 Agility and 5% break block was ok enough... but the second piece was total crap. Agility and strength are much better skill additions than speed... especially with a lowly 3% addition. If it came with a 5%, it'd be ok.

That's not true, especially if it's a % type that you'll have two pieces of.

That is also not at all true. Speed is the best equipment for DEs right now. Your heart is in the right place, but should someone who has never built a good dot really be giving anyone advice about how to do so?

I'll give you that I haven't built a DE in many seasons and so it might have changed. Agility was the biggie as I remember it. And, add to that that the OP didn't specify Pass rushing DE or Run Stopping DE. I simply guessed he was talking pass rushing.
