I got banned for calling someone mentally deficient. That's not even the same thing as calling them retarded. I was basically saying they were stupid.

I'm assuming you stopped doing it once you found out you got banned for it?

Is touting one's mental superiority tantamount to calling everyone else mentally deficient?
Inquiring minds want to know.

uh-OH. Is mindblown;=mentally deficient?

My Dad (he used only one 'd) used to get upset with us if we spoke to one of our brothers like "Man, you must be crazy!"
He would say, "Your brother's not crazy! He's just mistaken."
So then we'd say, "Man, you must be mistaken!"
It quickly became the euphemism for 'Crazy!' and got the same result since we knew what was meant.
Kind of like 'Procreating', as in "Get your procreatin' hands off me!"

:mindblown: means you posted someone so meaningful, that I can't comprehend the extent of it.

But I digress, our crotchety StudMuffin is correct.

Back on track!

I really haven't been posting enough in forum argument threads to need to point out my mental superiority or someone else's lack of the same.

Is rolling for EQ worthless?

If you get something you want, then No.
If you don't get something you want, then Yes.
Will you always get something you want before you spend more than it would have cost you to build? No
Will you sometimes get something you want before you spend more than it would have cost you to build? Yes
Do the positive experiences outweigh the negative ones over time? Depends on how much you enjoy rolling, how critical the AEQ is to your player, if the build can benefit from the additional training allowed by saving BT, etc.

For me, I don't roll anymore.

It's typically better to roll when you need a wide variety of pieces early on... but if you're looking for that one final piece, it can be dicey and difficult. But if you keep in mind that you can land either that % piece/SA or a +3 attribute piece to make it cheaper than it would be to actually make... it makes it all worthwhile.

I've gotten some great pieces on my players by rolling. It has been cheaper nearly across the board.
