...lolk I'll reveal the real reason coz I admit that i do have a hidden agenda ...I don't like you because of your backflipping and hidden agendas! ...and ok, I like LE because of his dedication and professionalism! ...but inviting agents to your 2nd PWG team for the sake of 'teaching' is not a good enough reason for keeping a 2nd team in PWG ...imo it shouldn't even be there to begin with! ...if you want agents to become good at coordinating and building a team, then do it out of PWG ...get them to make up a team and transfer your basic AIs over to that ...then drop by from time to time to help them tinker with the AIs to get them ready for PWG(yeah, I know that you have done this before i think with ZMJ?!?), but at least it won't look so much like you are being opportunistic ...the impression that i get from this PWG teaching team, is this 'classroom' is like a recruiting ground that you may or may not recruit from, depending on how good they become, and/or how much money they are prepared to spend on your team ...and I think that is unfair for PWG in general, especially when you already are keeping a peewee team from gaining experience from PWG coz of your 2nd team ...you can say that there no hidden agenda and want it to look like you are some saint for doing this, but I'm sure that you'll be showing these agents your team structure for next season on the team forum and will be inviting some of them to create dots for at least one of your teams, and that is opportunism for personal gain!

I had every intention of dropping my 2nd PWG team, but before I did that, I wanted to put Chicago back in the Western conference. The problem was the ONLY way to do that is swap with my own team and those swaps ONLY came after AZ would have expired, so renewed AZ for one more season. Instead of being competitive again with AZ, I wanted to focus on Chicago and decided to turn AZ into a teaching team.
For S33, what I would like to do, but no guarentee that I will do it, is move AZ to the Rookie leagues and then demote them every season so they remain at the same level.
Everyone complains that having a 2nd team in PWG is a huge advantage. I see only 2 advantages it gives. The first is you get more experience against the same team. For example, Chicago's loss to FGC did help AZ against FGC in the S31 championship game. No doubt about that. The 2nd advantage is you see better competition on both teams, so you can fine turn your system more often as blow outs don't help.
However, a number of people said it's unfair because I can setup scrims against myself and even use one of my teams to mimic another team, like I did with FGC. The issue is that I can do that from any PW or Rookie league. My 2nd team just needs to be of the same age, not in the same league to do that. So I find that side of the argument invalid.
As for helping other teams, yes, I have done that. Problem is I found way too often the owner stopped wanting to learn and only wanted me to run their defense. If I wanted a simple DC job, I could easily find one, but I prefer to teach people to be their own DC's. After failing more often than not when trying to teach people on their own teams, I did invite a select few onto my normal teams with full access to my AI's in hopes they would try to learn it. Instead, most just copied it to their own teams and never bothered to learn it, so that was a failure. What I am doing now is an experiment. I give those invited to AZ full access to my AI's, they are teaching AI's, so not as powerful as my normal AI's. This was done in hopes people would try to learn them instead of just copying them. We shall see by the end of the season if this worked or is another failure.
You constantly say I have a hidden agenda. I don't, but would like to hear your theories on what they would be if I did. I should be able to dismiss most of them.
And just so you don't have to ask, I did send you a GM invite so at the very least, you can inspect my team's forum to verify I am not doing anything I shouldn't. Accept it or decline it, your call.

OK, you declined it, fair enough. But remember that it's harder to criticize someone from the outside looking in especially when given the chance to see it from the inside. jkid2 even wanted an invite and I am sure he would speak up if he thought I was doing something I shouldn't.

If you want to see what he is doing and take the same advantage just accept the damn invite... if you want to be a butthurt asshole then continue to do so and get no where with it. You don't even own a team in Pee wee gold and aren't a GM in PWG infact you don't even have a single player in PWG so why the hell are you so butthurt?
I shall share what Dub J has given me. This is for your butt: ( ̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲̅[̲̅ ̲̅]̲̅:̲̅:̲̅:̲ )
So what... Gerr earned a spot in PWG for BOTH of his teams so he decides to use one to show some others how to coach...
This is a learning team and this thread is made so that people who want to LEARN to join... IF oyu with to troll FFA is over there...

sorry, but i won't go there ...declined!
...ok well if you are so sure that you are doing the noble thing, then I have no choice but to trust your intentions ...I still don't like this idea about you teaching agents in a 2nd PWG team coz I think it has the potential for opportunism, but I must admit that you have handled my 'grilling' well and have been open about it, so it does suggest that you are trying to do the right thing ...my sincere apologies for the nasty behavior that i have directed towards you at such a time, considering the the trauma that you must be enduring over your sick child ...it was in poor taste for me to use such words and i regret what i have said ...I'm sorry and I did overreact

Owning 2 Gold teams may not be a good thing, but it is not against the rules. For me the boosting is what is slowly driving me from peewee. The custom EQ even more so. Those are not against the rules either so I can either deal with it, get better, or move on.
I can see why LE is miffed. He invested heavy into the Bears team selling Short Bus and planned a dynasty. I don't think Gerr purposely screwed him over, but seeing Chicago was indeed competing must have been hard to take. Best scenario is to move on and have fun. LE still has loyal agents and can still put together a top notched team.

I won't quote your text Gerr because it take half a page.
Maybe it was just poor communication but yeah that left a very sour taste in my mouth when I saw that forum post. People tend to forget I can play pretty good defense as well. People just think of me as an offensive coordinator because I helped so many teams with offense. My defense is what won me several championship births in the early Gold seasons. I figured you would of at least asked if I would do both until you had time. You could of had me do it until the playoffs and then take over so you could spend time away from the game. I think I was just pissed off about the well I'm done post that I didn't think twice about volunteering for it. In fact I refrained from posting in that thread for a couple of days because I probably say something mean. During that time i was looking for another team to join up with because I still wanted to play and burn flex. Jkid took me up on the offer right away, It's over now but yeah I'm not too happy with how it all went down. I sold my team which I would of kept but it's just a game.
As far as the lolGMS, SBWL always had 25-35 agents on the team. I would often allow agents to remain as lolgms and they would take seasons off but come around every few seasons and make players. I didn't see any reason to kick them off the team just because they didn't make a player that season. Having them on the team wasn't hurting us in any way. Hell back in the day I used to have at least 5 plus multis on the team. Not like they can steal the AIs. Builds and tactics information is abundant in the public forums. Just think with the two free players I don't think I would of ever sold my team as I would always have agents willing to play.
Having two teams be it silver, two golds or rookie is still an advantage. Who wants to create 110 players? I can see where Man thinks it's a hidden agenda. he is thinking you say you are "training" when in reality you are "recruiting". This allows you to extend your stay in gold on your second team and it be cheaper for you and less time consuming. If you have to have 110 players and two teams to have the edge, than you have more issues in life than what this game will reward you. I started this season with two teams and 110 players. I though you must be insane. Is a gold gif that no one will remember 5 seasons from now really worth all that time and energy? However having two in Gold league is more of an advantage than having one play in both silver or rookie. Unlike Man, I still don't buy your crap about "helping and training", otherwise you would not have signed up both teams to the PWG tourney. Again advantage AZ/Chicago, just like last season and the 5 previous seasons before that. Your just buying time IMO and trying to recruit players so you can keep your scheme going. Same thing last season by getting Seric, Dusk and Surge to join you. Cut down on your Chicago time and gave you more time for AZ your main team.
ManOgwaR that was some entertaining posts you made. Thanks for making PWG fun to check in again.

Sorry Gerr, but anyone that thinks you don't have a hidden agenda is a fool...or doesn't know jack about Peewee. You started shit seasons ago with me when I coached for multiple teams in Gold. One of the reasons why I sold my original team and focused on the Wood Village Whistle Pigs.
By the way...you have a full time job and two kids? How do you have time for 1 team, let alone 2?!?!

Is there a reason everyone seems to insist that I have a hidden agenda and can't take what I am doing at face value?
This team is open to anyone, so if you want to learn, just see my AI's, or police my actions, all are invited as I have nothing to hide.
As for the time, ya, I sometimes struggle to find the time, which is why my system is very self sufficient. Sure I would be better if I game planned or examined every game, but I just don't have the time. I have developed my system over many seasons and have it to the point where I don't need to spend much time on it. Mainly, all I do for most games is a quick 5 min worth of tagging. While I own all players on AZ, I only own less than half of the players on Chicago, so I don't need to upkeep 110 players, but even the ones I have take a while. Between that and these forums is where I spend most of my time. I have come to realize, like many have, it no longer matters what seed you get as long as you get into the playoffs in PWG because many teams turn it on then so even the 8 seeds are dangerous, much like the Billz last season. So coasting into the playoffs is my only goal.
However, I don't know how finding out that my 2-month old daughter will be a special needs child will affect my free time. For now I don't see much of a change, but as she gets older, pending she survives that long, I can see my free time reducing. But I always can log in from work...

I don't buy what gerr is saying, but what choice do we have? ...I know that it gives him a bigger edge over PWG and I'm sure that gerr will take advantage of this opportunism to some extent, whether it be training coordinators to serve his purpose, or obtaining agents for building dots, or both ...i think it is inevitable ...but to what extent will he take it to is something that we will just have to trust that he will try to do the right thing about coz it's not like he's breaking any rules ...i believe it's just not in the best interests of PWG

Well, I guess I can't prove I don't have a hidden agenda and only time will tell. The GM offer still stands for anyone, even if you just want to watch what I am doing.
