While hes at it if he could make it to change the screen name of a list of players to "Luddite" it would spare me wasting the time of a reply on some of the posts of the learned gentlemen of the Suggestions Forum.

seriously Yello1 I do give you a hard time over some of your suggestions. because essentially some of them are God Awful ideas. You have had some decent suggestions at times but the problem most people have with you or atleast me personally. Is that you are constantly suggesting things that you want not stuff that would enhance GLB for everyone.

For example your latest suggestion wanting GLB to add something for you to do instead of watching the chemistry on your teams. well here is a great idea for you instead of watching the chemistry spend that time recruiting agents that will stay with your teams. use that time to make yourself into a better owner one that agents want to continue playing for. and a good owner is usually accompanied by being successful. so taking the time to work on the betterment of your teams. instead of flooding the suggestions forum with some off the wall suggestions. would more than likely fill all your free time so that you didn't need to try to make 50 suggestions a day. it would also help us because then we wouldn't have to be called luddites because we didn't agree with your suggestions.

While I do occasionally toss a jest into the forum, and while sometimes a suggestion on further examination may not be feasible or are founded on a mistaken impression of how things work in game, all of my serious suggestions are indeed good for the game. I have been designing games since the dark ages of paper and dice and play by mail etc. I actually was paid for it at one time. Its a passion of mine. When I see something broken in the game, or an idea for a funner way to do things, I post it not because its something thats good for me (my teams chemistry nightmare is over and done with, assuming we manage to stay in the bigs) but is good for GLB as a whole.

You may not see it. Not everyone can grasp genius after all. But its there all the same. Or more seriously, you may not see past your own likes and dislikes and preferences to see the bigger picture of what others with differing tastes or gaming goals may like instead. But that doesn't mean the idea is awful. It just means its not something that suggests a feature you would use. But thats why there are 51 flavors of ice cream including coffee and rocky road. Businesses have to cater to a broad audience, not just you and your ilk. My ilk pays for flex too. More flex makes Bort a happy um, whatever Bort is.

And you may come to the table filled with judgment and contempt for those who have not mastered all of GLBs nuances or stumbled upon a game design pitfall or otherwise not risen to the standard of play that you feel we should all be held accountable to. But there you fail to grasp that this is not in fact a test of manhood or righteousness nor a training ground for the military elite who will defend our shores from all threats foreign and opposing party. It is, instead, a game. Meant to be fun. For everyone. Many of my ideas address making the games more arcane or foolish design choices more user friendly. User Friendly is a term invented for good reason. Because there were companies that went with the Frack The User term instead, and they all went bankrupt. Or became banks and monopolies. But Borts not a bank and there is no monopoly on online gaming. If GLB continues to snub the User the way the Land of the Luddites suggests, Bort will starve and GLB will fold up like Colonel Qadaffi's Club Med.

In short, get over yourself and your opinions and realize that the game is best served by improvements, not clinging to the tentative framework of Beta that Bort cobbled out of thin air. And that improvement has to be with ALL players in mind. Not just you and those who think like you do.

EDIT sorry on re-read that came across more "bitchy" than was my mood or intent. Some of the funny didn't translate. Basically I am just saying, its a matter of opinion. Your opinion need not be mine. But mine need not be yours either and if it isn't that doesn't make it dumb or bannable or the work of a raving lunatic etc etc. So don't be a nazee and ladle me some soup.

I would have no problem with allowing Owners to have more teams in the same system (Regular, Casual, PeeWee).
Just toss in a limiter that will not allow them in the same League.

Seeing CPU teams in the upper leagues is just wrong on so many levels.

again where are you going to get eh players to fill these teams? It is easy to say to do one thing or another as far as how many teams a agent can own I really do not give a shit if there are enough players available to fill those teams. If there isn't enough players which there is not. then all allowing owners to own more teams is going to do is water down the player pool even more than it is now. so seriously what is the point in owning more teams if those teams are going to be just as god awfully bad as CPU teams for the most part? how would it help the game? how would it help stop mediocre leagues the game is plaqued with nowadays?

mediocre teams is as much related to poorly built dots, inexperienced OC/DCs, and a D/O AI that tends to not stick to game plans as it is to anything else.
There will always be the Top Dogs, The Pack, and then The Other Guys.
