WEEK 10 RANKINGS (R = USPL rookies this season, WL = i'm sure you can figure it out)
WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl (10-0WL) - Made short work of the Spoilers but ball security has to be a concern for this squad after fumbling 7 times and losing 4 of them.
2 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (9-1) - Easy win over the Predators and now they face the undefeated storm in a game that could determine the 2 and 3 seeds.
3 Tulsa Storm (10-0) - Solid win over the Penguins and the Storm has a shot at cementing themselves as one of the top 2 seeds next week when they face MEM. If they come out unscathed they'll face off against the Growl the following week in a battle of undefeateds.
4 Vancouver Lions (9-1R) - The Lions escape Covington with a 3 point win after the defense put up a stellar effort and managed to salvage a game that saw the offense throw 2 picks, one of which was returned for a score in the 2nd Q to make it a 3 point game.
5 American Terrorists (9-1) - Another big win for the Terrorists but with games against the top 3 seeds remaining can this team make a push at a home playoff spot?
6 Canton Bulldogs (5-5) - A much needed win for Canton to end their 3 game slide. The final 6 are all solid match-ups and give the Bulldogs plenty of shots to secure their playoff spot.
7 5th Masterminds (6-4R) - The Masterminds have ripped off 5 wins a row and, while the final 2 games of the season are undoubtedly going to be the toughest remaining games, the next 4 games give them ample opportunities to wrap up their playoff spot.
8 Newfoundland Penguins (4-6) - A tough loss to Tulsa but can they turn things around in time for a match-up with AT next week?
9 Covington Black Knights (3-7) - Another tough loss for the Knights and they need to win out in order to have a shot at sneaking into the playoffs.
10 Sin City Spoilers (4-6R) - With 6 games left it's do or die time for the Spoilers. The next 3 offer up decent match-ups before they have to face the Storm.
11 Bay Area Bombers (4-6) - The Bombers remaining games should all be good ones and they need to essentially win out to sneak into the playoffs with 4 of those games being against teams all fighting to slip into the playoffs.
12 Stormwind City Gryphons (3-7R) - Lost a game they couldn't afford to lose and it's going to take a lot of luck and some teams taking nosedives for the Gryphons to have a shot at a playoff spot.

2 All The King's Men (9-1WL) - Huge win over the Aggies as ATKM seemed to be grooving on all fronts. Can they keep it up against a Crocs team that seems to be hitting its stride?
3 Black Ops 7 (9-1) - BO7 seems to have taken their foot off of the gas pedal since their win over the Aggies and with a week 15 game against ATKM looking like their last big match-up of the season will they just coast from here to the playoffs and save the best for their playoff run.
4 College Station Aggies (8-2) - The Aggies drop their 2nd one in the last 3 weeks and they can't afford to slip up the next 2 weeks as they prepare for the undefeated Mice to come to town in week 13.
5 Gulf Coast Crocs (7-3R) - All of the Crocs losses have been at the hands of top seeded teams but will they be able to change all of that next week against ATKM.
6 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (6-4R) - Their next 3 opponents are a combined 2-28 so the Diggers should be sitting at 9-4 when they head into a final 3 game stretch against the Aggies, Crocs and Suppressors.
7 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners (5-5) - Big loss against the Crocs and Wala can not afford to lose to any of their next 3 opponents as they are all against teams fighting for those last playoff spots.
8 Oakland Suppressors (6-4) - A great job shutting down BOs pass attack but Oakland failed to get in the endzone until late in the 4th.
9 Atlantic City Affliction (5-5) - End their 3 game skid with a solid win over Nashville and next week should be an easy win to get them over .500 again.
10 Punxsutawney Groundhogs (6-4) - Come out of an easy 3 game stretch unblemished but the Aggies will make life miserable next week. The 4 game stretch after that will decide the Groundhogs playoff fate this season.
11 Nashville Hounds (4-6) - In the game until the 4th Q when they gave up 31 points to ACA and could only muster up 10 points. With 3 almost guaranteed losses remaining, this latest loss may have cost the Hounds any shot at slipping into the playoffs.

1 South Georgia Growl (11-0WL) - Shutout the Predators and next up on the agenda is Tulsa, fresh off their first loss of the season and hoping to avoid it becoming a 2 game slide.
2 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (10-1) - Overpowered the Storm oline to the tune of 14 hurries and 13 sacks while completely shutting down the Storms offense and only giving up 1 TD. Big win for the Monkeys as they prepare for the 10-1 Terrorists.
3 Tulsa Storm (10-1) - The offense was completely ineffective against MEM which leaves a lot to work out before they face the Growl next week.
4 Vancouver Lions (10-1R) - The Lions outplayed the Jokers this week and held them to 3 points. While they've more than wrapped up a playoff spot the next 5 weeks bring games against the top 3 teams and an opportunity for the Lions to secure home field advantage.
5 American Terrorists (10-1) - In the same scenario as the Lions as far as the schedule and their opportunities go. They have to be hoping for the Lions to slip up though to give them a shot at a top 4 seed.
6 5th Masterminds (7-4R) - Winners of 6 straight, the Masterminds are in position to secure a playoff spot with wins the next 3 weeks. The last 2 are brutal games against MEM and SGG so 5th can't afford any slip ups between now and then.
7 Canton Bulldogs (5-6) - Canton has now lost 6 of their last 8 games but still have a shot with none of the last 5 games coming against any of the teams ranked above them. With so many teams fighting for those last spots the Bulldogs have to take at least 4 of the last 5, if not all 5.
8 Newfoundland Penguins (4-7) - Another big loss to the Terrorists and with the Lions up next the window could be closing on the Penguins. A loss next week could put them in a situation where they have to win their final 4 games. The race for the 8 seed is going to come down to the wire and could hinge on the week 16 game against the Bombers.
9 Bay Area Bombers (5-6) - The Bombers are still in the hunt with 4 winnable games remaining but they'll have to play better than they did against the Spoilers.
10 Sin City Spoilers (4-7R) - Tough loss against BABs and one that pretty much eliminates them from the playoffs.
11 Stormwind City Gryphons (4-7R) - Big win for the Gryphons that keeps them alive but they must win against the Bombers and Spoilers the next 2 weeks to stay alive in this race. If they take those 2 and then beat Canton they'll have a great shot at the 8 seed. They'll also need a lot of outside help in the form of the Penguins losing some more games.

4 College Station Aggies (9-2) - The defense gave up 3 FGs and 1 TD while the offense just put up a measly 489 total yds behind some strong running. In 2 weeks they face the top seeded Mice in a bid to end their undefeated streak.
5 Gulf Coast Crocs (7-4R) - Leaned heavily on the run game and in the end that proved to be the wrong way to go about things against the stingy ATKM defense and explosive offense.
6 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (7-4R) - Taking good advantage of this little break in their schedule to maintain their ground in the playoff seeding.
7 Oakland Suppressors (7-4) - Oakland wins a game they had to have but they still have 2 games they'll most likely lose left. The other 3 games include 2 against teams fighting for playoff spots so Oakland can't let up now.

WESTERN
1 South Georgia Growl (12-0WL) - Rode the storm into the ground. 463 yards of offense and a defense that got 2 pick 6s and forced 7 fumbles (2 recovered). Dominating win over a good team.
2 American Terrorists (11-1) - Huge win for AT this week but can they repeat that performance against the Growl next week.
3 Monmouth Evil Monkeys (10-2) - Played a close game and managed to tie it up early in the 4th but the last 2 minutes of the game saw AT post 21 points to MEMs 0. Big loss for the Monkeys and now they have to get set for a tough game with the Lions. The win over Tulsa almost guarantees them a home playoff game if they don't fall off now.
4 Tulsa Storm (10-2) - Tulsa drops it's 2nd in a row and with games against the Lions and Terrorists in the final 2 weeks they could be in jeopardy of falling out of the top 4.
5 Vancouver Lions (11-1R) - The Lions need to cut down on the turnovers from this last game because the next month includes games against MEM, SGG and Tulsa. This squad has the talent to compete but the one glaring loss to Stormwind, coupled with the lack of a dominating win over tougher teams, shows that they could slip up at any minute. Dropped them a spot since I don't think MEM or Tulsa deserve to fall too far and the Lions just haven't put together a strong enough case to be higher yet.

2 All The King's Men (11-1WL) - Went into halftime tied up at 10. Exploded for 66 points in the 2nd half and gave up a whopping 0.
3 Black Ops 7 (11-1) - Pull out the win with a 19 point 2nd half after falling behind by 7 at halftime. That was closer than expected to say the least.
4 College Station Aggies (10-2) - With losses to ATKM and BO7 the outcome of next weeks game really won't change much of anything. Win or lose they are still the 4 seed – now a loss to the Diggers the following week could through a wrench in that plan.
5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (8-4R) - Still have another easy game to come before the Aggies bring them back to reality. Key games will be weeks 15 & 16. Wins will lock up the 5th seed.

7 Oakland Suppressors (7-5) - Right now I'm thinking Oakland would like to suppress the 2nd half of that loss. Next up, the Groundhogs. A must win in my eyes with the Mice and LV on tap for weeks 15 and 16.

1 South Otto Fragile Porcelain Mice (12-0) - Finally, week 13 is here.
2 All The King's Men (11-1WL) - Went into halftime tied up at 10. Exploded for 66 points in the 2nd half and gave up a whopping 0.
3 Black Ops 7 (11-1) - Pull out the win with a 19 point 2nd half after falling behind by 7 at halftime. That was closer than expected to say the least.
4 College Station Aggies (10-2) - With losses to ATKM and BO7 the outcome of next weeks game really won't change much of anything. Win or lose they are still the 4 seed – now a loss to the Diggers the following week could through a wrench in that plan.
5 Las Vegas Gold Diggers (8-4R) - Still have another easy game to come before the Aggies bring them back to reality. Key games will be weeks 15 & 16. Wins will lock up the 5th seed.
6 Gulf Coast Crocs (7-5R) - Fell flat against the Groundhogs and that will cost them later when it's seeding time. Should take the next game but after that is a sure loss at the Mice. Week 15 against LV will be big and a loss could drop them as far as the 7 seed.
7 Oakland Suppressors (7-5) - Right now I'm thinking Oakland would like to suppress the 2nd half of that loss. Next up, the Groundhogs. A must win in my eyes with the Mice and LV on tap for weeks 15 and 16.
8 Punxsutawney Groundhogs (7-5) - Big win over the Crocs and this team is in must win mode now. If they can sweep the next 3 and finish up 10-6 they could wrap up the 6th seed.
9 Atlantic City Affliction (6-6) - A loss to BO was pretty expected so they need to move on, focus on Wala and make sure they pick up the W next week or it could be over for them.
10 Nashville Hounds (5-7)
11 Wala Wala Drunken Shriners (5-7)
12 Denver Giant 9'ers (2-10R)
13 Philadelphia SEXY Demonik (2-10R)
14 Minnesota Eagles (1-11)
15 The Outlaw Assassins (1-11)
16 Chicago Bears 85 (0-12R)
