Only thing of "relevance" that you do anymore is put that rankings committee together. You're dated as a coordinator and you're trying to make a point that season 21 zeta was stronger then this season's alpha only because your providence squad was in zeta.

I think we just covered the fact that my DPC plays are still being used to great effect. But no, I'm arguing that S23 Zeta is better than S21 Alpha because I genuinely believe it. As noted, people were saying before the season that s21 alpha was ridiculous, but when the games actually happened it didn't live up to the hype. HHWC wasn't its usual self, MPHD never became the gold-winning force people always expected, etc. Meanwhile I certainly didn't expect s23 zeta to be so dominant, but the fact is that it has been. The rankings committee bears that out, as zeta took the top six spots. Shoot, my only WL dot this season is in Alpha, and my OL is going to Asau next season. I'm not playing up Zeta for any other reason than because their superiority is obvious.

This isn't about a me thing or a best coord thing. Or who gets ranked where in opinion polls. It's about the team winning dotball games when it counts and having fun with our teammates in the forums. I think any team would rather have a championship than win an opinion poll. I think Hood and EAG have done pretty damn well. Who cares about not getting much credit by the self-anointed know it all?

EAG and Hood had a good game in reg season and Hood played both Guyana and Odessa well in scrims. EAG didn't get to play either but played Canton and QCBC on same day and played both well. I am confident that any of the teams remaining are good enough to win it all.

So if for example if HOOD/Sofia/Korb had as many 16 games of care like QCBC then they couldn't run to the top seed over there?

Guyana and QCBC had pitchers of care during the reg season. Hell the Guyana guy gameplans for scrims.

I'm done arguing with you, I do agree there are better dots in zeta then in alpha.

Sure, but winning silver doesn't necessarily mean you were very good. Saying that the difference between S23 Alpha and S23 Zeta was one of the biggest ever in the World League isn't really going out on a limb. That's not the fault of the teams involved, it's just the way things shook out.

Getting back to this, not coordinating this season has obviously left me with more time to post. So does that mean I should get back into coordinating for S24 or keep things as they are?
