To be honest, I agree. Gold is simply better than Silver, so in future tourneys, I think it wouldn't be a bad idea to spot Silver some points, say 14 points a game, almost like a handicap, and go by total points, not W-L.

Yeah, it seems as though the only really good silver teams are the ones being helped by gold coaches...
And in gold, most of the powerhouses aren't new teams....

Sadly, we'll never have a S7 (FT, montpellier, NOWD) or a S3 (SOA, loretto, LIK PW, BGW, STD) ever again... sucks, but gold is where its at

Well, gold teams have the advantage of all competitive games in their league, boosting, CE, etc., where as I think most Silver teams joining this have no idea what they got themselves into.

I for one am not saying I am better then any Gold team, I am just playing just to measure how well my team is. At least in our first game we kept it competitive for a couple quarters
