Dane Cook is an interesting subject. He's definitely not a comedian, but he's quite a showman, and a pretty good entertainer when he's got some good material.
The problem with him is that all the women love him, which makes all the men cast judgment upon him, "Dane Cook? He's not funny. Shutup."
You don't have to be funny to be entertaining. I used to hate Cook's shows, but I started forcing myself to watch him -- if only so I could accurately assess his abilities. His movies are wretched (probably why he stopped getting roles) but watch his shows and everyone loves him.
Nobody likes dpride69 or 2.5star, but they still have good dotball teams.
Keep it all in perspective and you can see where the entertainment value occurs.
