The reason is that EEPL traditionally challenges different teams each season. It is simply time for another league now. SLAP wasn't picked because we thought they would be a piece of cake. SLAP's reputation was as one of the best Pro leagues. I don't think anyone here knew they were gonna have a down year.

everyone in SLAP told you it was a down year last year....it was pretty much common knowledge. almost all of top teams had a bunch of L66 and L67 dots.

That said, SLAP got its ass kicked last year. I know i didn't take it very seriously on DADDY's part, and in hindsight that was a mistake -- I think Warsaw God of War beat us or something, good for them - not griping at all. i can't speak for all the teams in SLAP, but we didn't show up and it wasn't as close as we would've liked it. EEPL legitimately won that match-up.

My only issue with EEPL right now is fuck who you guys WANT to challenge, we're flat out saying that SLAP is challenging you. You guys are seriously gonna back out because you beat us last year? If that's true, that's a load of shit. As far as I can tell, there's very little stopping you guys from challenging some other conference by accepting a challenge from SLAP.

We want to play you guys because you kicked the crap out of a bunch of young teams last year and most of them want to get a chance to avenge that. Saying stupid shit like 'you gotta be the number one contender' is ridiculous. This isn't boxing where you can have one fight every 3-9 months. You can do a scrimmage every day, or every other day. One more on your schedule isn't gonna kill anyone. If ya'll can't realize that, then whatever. I know we'll send scrims to the teams that are game, and I'll appreciate them for not being ass holes about it.

I have also clearly stated that Arkadak would be happy to play anyone from SLAP again this season. See if we can improve on our 6-1 record from last season.

Same here but in my case I won't wait.
Since my team finished 8th seed last season on EEPL Zeta, I sent challenges to last season's 8th and 7th seed teams of SAPL's Dizzy Conference.

09/19/2010 Red Communists at 6:00 (R)
09/21/2010 Washington D.C. Homeless (R)

Reds already accepted, just waiting for Washington to accept. If by chance my team beats these two teams, I'll move up and challenge the next team.

" The 3rd rate non-playoff making" Boracs will accept challenges from anyone out of SLAP. We'll even play the second rate and top rate teams without bitching

Not paying attention to this thread... too much love in here for my liking.

If South America wants to figure out the rankings and have their team send the scrimmage, then the Bucks will accept. I think we're about a half-step behind where we were last season, but no excuses... we'll play in the spot you think we should go.

BBM wasn't trying when we lost to eepl teams. We beat Stewart fair and square when we cared. Get over it
