SLAP's reputation was as one of the best Pro leagues. I don't think anyone here knew they were gonna have a down year.
everyone in SLAP told you it was a down year last year....it was pretty much common knowledge. almost all of top teams had a bunch of L66 and L67 dots.
That said, SLAP got its ass kicked last year. I know i didn't take it very seriously on DADDY's part, and in hindsight that was a mistake -- I think Warsaw God of War beat us or something, good for them - not griping at all. i can't speak for all the teams in SLAP, but we didn't show up and it wasn't as close as we would've liked it. EEPL legitimately won that match-up.
My only issue with EEPL right now is fuck who you guys WANT to challenge, we're flat out saying that SLAP is challenging you. You guys are seriously gonna back out because you beat us last year? If that's true, that's a load of shit. As far as I can tell, there's very little stopping you guys from challenging some other conference by accepting a challenge from SLAP.
We want to play you guys because you kicked the crap out of a bunch of young teams last year and most of them want to get a chance to avenge that. Saying stupid shit like 'you gotta be the number one contender' is ridiculous. This isn't boxing where you can have one fight every 3-9 months. You can do a scrimmage every day, or every other day. One more on your schedule isn't gonna kill anyone. If ya'll can't realize that, then whatever. I know we'll send scrims to the teams that are game, and I'll appreciate them for not being ass holes about it.
