Oh, so when used the top 10 before as a sample size, it wasn't an issue? Now that it disproves you, the sample size should be the top 5 teams. Yeah, that's a real accurate data set.

I do too, but I just don't see there being a fool proof/"fair" way to break up the teams. Random is about as fair as their is....and it's not a lock that any of those teams would have made it in Alpha either. I know exact how well the talent lvl of D9/Shockers line up....SoCal/jdros is a master at finding the cool new blitzs. they're a bitch to beat when they try bringing their A game and they're current sitting at #8 in Alpha.

Both. But you miss my point entirely. Day 40 rankings for season z look totally different than day 40 for season y. Accordingly, you cannot rely on them. That's why random is a better draw.
