lol, I don't really have an argument here, I couldn't care less either way with this other than I now have to spend a few bucks on the game to keep my WR that can now hit 72 instead of retiring him.

As far as creating on day 39, that was just dumb, seriously how could you justify a decision like that?

There was no consensus when to build dots back then. Decline or plateau weren't even addressed until the end of season 9. Why would anyone assume day 39 was any worse than day 40. Hell, the pee wee FAQ linked on this very site said day 31 was the optimal build date.

When I'm investing $30-$50 into a single dot over the next 2 years, I'm going to try to make wise choices. Creating Day 41 over Day 0 was even too risky for my liking.

And I'm not against this change, not at all. I'm bitter it was a late decision as it cost me a player that is now valuable, and I have to spend a few bucks, something I haven't did here in a long time.

Created day 2, granted that is close to 0, but he got over 72 with 800 XP to spare. And there were a lot of games where he did not get max XP.
IMO if you created anytime after day 30 or so you were taking a huge risk. It's one thing to have uncertainty, it's another to fail to anticipate likely possibilities.

A 440 boosting cut off date was a foreseeable possibility. Lol? You guys are so beyond ridiculous it's amusing. Fact of the matter is, bort & co. could manage simple logic and made the change to the game. So, I guess, QQ, CMN, etc...

Whether the boosting cutoff date is 440 or 400, when the FAQ says plateau will begin after 10 seasons, you have to think that you could end up getting fewer boosts by not boosting before your dot's first season rollover.

Agreed. When I made my dot I did some looking and asking around and got some opinions on when to create dots and why - and built Day 0 because of potential decline concerns.

Why do you keep saying this? Who didn't boost on their first season? The issue is the ADDITIONAL plateau boosts. Day 32-39 dots that boosted every single opportunity, will almost always not hit level 72 because they miss out on day 440 boosts. That's not the agents fault.

Already edited my post to clarify that I meant before your dot's first season rollover. ("First season" could mean different things.)

Built day 39, boosted to lvl 4, and didn't hit lvl 72? That's more than a build day issue - you can build day 41, boost to lvl 4, and reach 72 in your day 400 season, a whole season earlier than your day 440 boosts.
