It's RNG so variations like this aren't surprising. There are a shit ton of circumstances, % boosts, and such so 1 play here or there could contribute to rapid decline due to confidence or stamina issues compiling. It's as much 'lol' as any football game. Any given Sunday and all that. If games were played in a 7 or 5 game series like all other sports than it would be a more precise indicator of the better team (player building, AI, gameplanning, etc.) It's not though. It's football and that is part of what is great about it.

That said, it sucks to be KCG and get your nose rubbed in it.

I can say for a fact I didn't change my offensive A.I. I believe a changed A.I. during a match is not reflected in the game. A long time ago, once or twice I procrastinated until match time by adding a few new plays and not to my surprise, the new plays weren't reflected in the match results. The sim only seems to read what the A.I. was once it locks the depth chart. Once the depth chart is locked, A.I. changes don't seem to matter.

Did KCG temp boost and perhaps the first sim "used it up"?

I think the whole team needs to answer this question to make sure.

I think as ever, Deathblade's comments are in fact all that can be taken from this.

It is sad to see such a pivotal game suffer in this way.

The real problem i have like i said was seeing the score the first time, being pumped about beating a great squad in the Silverbacks and really felt like we solidified ourselves at the top of the WEST. Now with a loss to Queens tomorrow and a Silverbacks win we could drop below them and with our brutal schedule a win there would have been really nice.

As far as temp boosting, i know of only 1 player on KCG that did temp boost. No one on the team was asked to temp boost

I am seeing 1 fumble lost by KC and no ints. Where are the 5 KC turnovers that lead to such a disparity?

I wouldn't write off KCG against Queensland, they're stout to be sure and should be favored, but having played both teams I would say that it is entirely possible for KCG to pull off an upset in that contest.

Also, we have to regroup and face a very underrated Thunder Bay Wolverines squad whose only losses have come against some of the best teams in the league. I know Coach Coughlin from having faced him before and he and his team have earned the right to be here in the pros and while we may be favored, that's a game we could lose as well.

The season isn't over gents, regroup, keep doing what you're doing and things should work out.

Glad the ADMIN cleared that up and validated what we said from the start.

I'd still be curious if those that temp boosted got the temp boost during the re-sim

Supposedly it did, the question was asked and since the first game was stuck and restarted, it would have still be there!
