Na MC you're wrong there, I like plasma's. My pops has a 60" Pioneer plasma and that is pretty much the nicest TV I have seen. And I've seen them all!

lol.

Who said I was bragging? If I wanted to buy an LED I would, but not worth the upgrade at the moment.

No way, Plasmas are shit, LCDs are hands down better, and LED is better than that. Plasmas are getting retired soon, all makers will stop production soon, many already have. It wont be long,

plasma=hd dvd=Beta

I don't really agree with that. I have LCD downstairs, but if I had a basement or darker area I would want plasma for sure. They are great for darker areas imo. LED really is still LCD but with different lighting.

Im telling you, Plamsa is getting faded out. I mean if you buy a shit LCD you will get a shit picture, Im talking top end shit. LED LCDs are amazing, the pixel refresh rate is where its at. Plasmas have too many draw backs, but I cant get past that crap glossy layer to the screen. I would take a DLP over plamsa any day

I am pretty sure most screen makers stopped manufacturing Plasma screens about 3 or 4 years ago. Or at least started moving towards newer technologies. I used to be up on this stuff and read an interesting article a few years ago explaining how consumers would probably be buying what was left over in warehouses for a while until they ran out. Poor suckers.
